total newbie here

I accidently found this site and today I found this board! I have just gotten started with all of this about 3 weeks ago....been thinking about it for longer and went to a doctor in Tulsa about it. it looks like at this point I will be having my surgery done in Little Rock AR long drive but The Doctor seems nice and his staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. other than saying Hi, I really dont have anything to ask or say... well other than those of you who have posted your progress and stories inspire me NOT to give up this time. No time like the present to start living...again. nutti/Lynette

Welcome Lynette you know they say there are no accidents. well maybe so huh. Glad you found us by accident. lol. We hope you continue to come here even if you dont have any questions. lol. How come you will be going to Little Rock for your surgery? Yes dont give up there is always an answer it seems to all of lifes problems . Again welcome and hope to see you on here more. Jan

Lynette....Hi & Welcome to the board..... Glad you found the site and the Mo board......It has been a blessing for me and everyone here is so nice and caring. Sounds like you have come a long ways....Hang in there things will get better after you have had surgery and get some of the weight off.....I know what you mean about how hard it is on your body....I too am looking forward to getting to enjoy time with my children and my precious grand daughter........And absolutely looking forward to getting back to things my weight has limited me from..... Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. as for going to Little Rock...Well as a medicare patient I have to go to a center of excellence and They are as close to me as anyone else. 4 hours St Louis is 5 hours and Columbia although is 4.5 hours never called me back...I called there twice. So there you are. I have nothing against MO doctors. I certainly would love to have this done closer to home but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. now that I have found this board...if for some reason this doesnt work out ...yall can help me find another doctor closer to home.
