Double Dog Dare - - A New Challenge

Over on the WLS Singles Board, we have started a "Double Dog Dare" Challenge.   We post on our profiles under the "Blog" area what we are eating every day.  We only started yesterday.   And we are going to see how we do by Sept. 1st.  Many of the people on the singles board are 2,3,4 plus years out, and find themselves not eating properly.   Some have gained back a substantial amount of their weight back, and that scares me to death.  NOW understand, that I am not trying to scare anyone here!  Just know that WLS is a tool.  It is not a miracle.  If you don't eat properly, you eventually will not succeed.  They inspire me from the Singles board, because so many ARE so far out and I learn thru them, what to DO and what NOT TO DO.   I thought I'd share the idea with you guys, and you'd at least know another tool other WLS people are using to try to take control of their life.   NOW, I have always chosen to NOT be an Angel to anyone because I do not think I am WLS educated enough to tell someone else what they should do....so, if you think that is what I am doing, I am not.   I don't want to interrupt anything you are currently doing to help yourself with your own personal WLS journey.  Love, Sherr

Hi Momma Jan!!  Yes, I have been putting what I eat on my "BLOG" area of my profile since Monday.  To do this, you just log into the system, view your profile, and click on "Add a Post"   To be able to view other days, you'd page down and click on "next"... If you guys think it would be helpful, I could cut and paste my days input from the day before HERE, and we can add to that post, if you think adding to the BLOG is too hard. Now, I am not saying what I eat is the right way to eat, okay?  I am just being brutally honest on WHAT I EAT.   I do not drink the protein drinks, as I tolerate MILK just fine, but since I had surgery, the whey seems to turn on my stomach and I continue to throw the drinks up.   Anyone else PLUS Momma J. want to let me know your input, please do.
