Wow! I went for my surgeon consult yesterday, and started my liquid protein diet today!!!!!!

I will be having my Lap-Band placed on June 27th!!!! I have finally arrived! !

Hi all! Thanks for welcoming me! I don't know how long it usually takes to get a surgery date. It doesn't seem like it has happened that quickly to me. I started getting all my paperwork together a long time ago. Actually, my ins.co. does require that you have a history of weight loss attempts recorded with your primary physician. A psych eval, and a ton of medical testing. I am going through St. Alexius New Start in St. Louis. My Dr. is Dr. Follwell.
