Need Help Finding 6 month diet place

My insurance, Aetna, will pay for my lap band after I have had 6 month supervised plan from a Dr. and dietician.I went to my PCP who is a Nurse Pract. and she said she did not think after reading it that they would allow just her to supervise.

Does anyone else have Aetna and/or what have you done for your 6 month supervised plan??? I am sooo ready toget this going!

Tori, I am currently doing the 6mo dr. supervised diet and I go to a dietician once a month out of a local hospital then I see my dr. once a month *****fered me to the dietician. Maybe your Nurse Pract. can refere you to a dietician and the two of them work together with you on this diet? Hope this helps.
