Am I being impatient?

I had my physiological testing done back in May on Friday the 18th. I was told by the Dr. that usually it can take up to two weeks for them to review the tests and my interview to complete their report (it‘s a two Dr. team). It’s now been four weeks and it’s still not done!!  I spoke to an assistant earlier this week and she said that they were still in the “editing” phase. I don’t want them to rush and I know they have other patients in their care--- but I’m feeling so frustrated because I cant even get an appointment for my consultation till the surgeons office receives and reviews this report. I’ve done everything else that is required by the surgeons office-- including the fact that I quit smoking three weeks ago and now I’m just waiting and waiting for this physiological report. I don’t have any prior experiences-- BUT four weeks seem like a LONG time to be working on a report.
Is this the norm? Or am I being impatient?

Yes it does seem like a long time for them to take....But about all you can do is keep checking back with them and be patient.....I know how you feel at this point and it is so hard not be anxious.....I wish you all the best....HUGS...Tammy

ITS NORM!! I'm sorry you are having to wait so long.  When the long wait is over it will be worth it.

I might suggest that you contact them again on Monday and ask that you speak with the Dr. or to leave him a note. Sometimes the paperwork can be overlooked. Four weeks is a long time but you might feel better checking back again. Don't feel like you are bugging them, you paid for the eval. Mine came back within a week. Of course they sent mine directly to the Bariatric Dr. Not to worry, it will all work out and this will be behind you.

Alot of this process does make you nervous, it did me. But now it seems it never happened. Good luck! Your process will be completed soon.
