MIA Checking In
Janet thanks for asking and caring about me!!!!
I have not been on the computer much in the last couple of weeks.
I thought today I would check in and see what was going on.
I have slooooooowwwwwwww dial up, (like 28 or 29 kbps),and I get disconnected
a lot and have to redial the connection all the time and it gets really frustrating!!!!!!!! 
So it will take me sometimes 5 to 6 hours just to read the posts and catch up. So that's
one reason I don't post much! And then the other has been taking care of my hubby. He's doing some better. He has been seeing a Endocronolgist for his diabetes. She's doing a lot of changing of his insulin. They have pretty much decided he is Type I and not Type II Diabetic, and that he had it a long time before it was diagnosed.
Right now he is on 40 units of Lantus Insulin at bedtime and Glucophage 1000mg twice a day and
on a sliding scale for Humulin R insulin.
We will be in Sedalia tuesday for my appointment to see Dr. H. at 1:15, and then to see everyone at the park after that.
Everyone take care and have a Good Father's Day Sunday.
I haven't forgotten the board, if I just had better internet service it would be great.
I live so far out in the boonies that this crappy old dial up is all I can get except for Satellite
Internet and I can't afford that right now. We may be looking at my husband going on disability and when that happens I may not be able to afford the jacked up price of $19.95 for this crappy internet service I have now.

we have all been worried about you and wondering about you too,. Knew that Dennis has been sick and hope he is getting better some soon.
Am anxious to see you both again on Tuesday. I am going to go by and see if i can find Julia while up there too. Hope she is ok.

Oh, Im so happy to see you post. I have been so worried about you and Dennis-you have been on my heart so much lately-
I totally understand about the boonies and the internet. We have the SBC dial up and it does take forever-I know. I get the same connection rate as you-LOL...The satellite would be so nice-but I cant afford it either!! The cost of the equipment is over $600 and then almost $100 a month-who can afford that?
Im sorry to hear about you and Dennis.......I will be praying for you both...Hey, do you mind sending me (by email) of course, so I can send you a note? I would love to coorespond that way with you since its hard to get on the internet for you....
