Dear Fearless Leader (LOL):
Im not sure if I am suppose to respond to you again or not..... I would REALLY love (and need it too-) to have a group meeting about the mental changes we go through. My very first support meeting, it was touched on...but that was January, and now I find myself going through it and not knowing what is normal and what isnt, and should be addressed-LOL...so-that would be wonderful~
I also think it would be nice to touch one time on what different people do for excercise and how often, ecspically for the ones who may have different disabilities and cant possibly work out in the gym or whatever.
Just ideas. Hope that it helps-like Vestas suggestion too-since I have wondered that myself a time or two when I have a day I seem to be able to eat more than I have before.....Thanks Claudette-and hope to see you on Monday. Love, Janet
How about the personality change it can make in a person. How to deal with people who are just ignorant or judge us for "mutilating our body?" What about follow up labs and what they mean. How far out do we keep drinking protein drinks? What to do if we start to gain wt after 2 years post op? How to retrain your pouch? We can discuss PS if anyone is intersted....I am personally done. And I agree with the subject of mental changes we go through. Does any of this help? I won't be there this next time. Chad will work evenings that week, so I won't have a babysitter. But my brother has said he will go. He has lost 95 pounds now...you won't recognize him!
Hi Claudette,
I would love to get some ideas on great high protein foods. I think I must be the only one out here that doesn't or can't tolerate the taste of protein shakes. Therefore getting in all my protein is a constant struggle.
Another topic...dealing with the cravings, and what to do when you notice that your old ways are creaping into your daily life again.
See ya Monday, Tara
Watch out world here I come!!
