KC.METRO SUPPORT GROUP CANCLED

Hi Peeps, I am truely sorry to inform those who was in need of support tonight due to the illness of our support group leader Colette and I will have to cancel our meeting for tonight,I myself is having bad back pains due to passing kidney stones and feeling nausea at this point,For those of you of wanting to be there tonight PLEASE! I hope you get this message. that is too bad Tony you all need to appoint someone else in case something like this happens again.  There will some that dont get the message and will go to the meeting only to be dissapointed. Is there someone that can at least go put a note on the door or something. so they wont wait around. So sorry that both of you are sick. Jan

sorry everyone is sick today and I am very disappoined I was really looking forward to going tonight.  I am glad that checked the boards because i usually don't on Mondays.  I agree with Jan we need a third and maybe even a 4th person just in case this should happen again?  Hope you all feel better soon!

Im soo sorry about the meeting being cancled tonight,And your right about getting another person too feel in.But,Colette is the only one that is a qualified nurse that has had the surgery done.I myself is a post op but dont know I would have the answers to all the questions out there.I know my wife knows a little of the surgery because of what I have been through,She has very bad pink eyes in bothand I know shes in alot of pain right now.Well, we'll figure out something so this wont happen no more,I just pray I can pass these kidney stones before our next one.Well,Im goin try and lay down,feeling really nausea right now.Godbless and we'll catch you on the 23rd next month.                                                       Tony

I have to be the one to apologize.  This has never happened.  Tony was the second choice and the man with the keys.  When I called him, I found out he was sick.  I have been down since Fiday , I think with some virus.  fever, chills, blah feelings and just really sick.  I agree we will decide next month of a third person.  We will ask for volunteers.  So Sorry.  Colette

I dont think the third person needs to be anyone who is concidered highly qualified. We are all very knowledgable and maybe someone should just ask at the next meeting if anyone want to fill in for the learder if they acan't come. Just my thought.

I agree with you 100%.  Even the first leader does not have to be a nurse.  I just happened to be.  We all have the same experience since we went through it.  Really sorry about tonight.  I guess with a new group, we learn through trial and error too.  We will have a back up in place.  Who would have known that both of us would be sick at the same time.  I am starting now to be able to eat some since Friday.  I felt so dehydrated from the diarhea.  Take care, Colette  (I will ask if someone will fill in at the next meeting.  Thanks for the good idea)
