Okay....someone smack me!
I gained 1 pound!!! My own fault.....I ate 2 Cheetos!!!, The past couple of weeks have been tough. I feel worse now than I did the day after surgery. Lots of problems with nausea. I have been able to get most of my protein and water in, if it weren't for the protein shakes, no telling what shape I would be in. I'm never hungry and I have to force myself to eat. I usually have the protein shake for lunch so I won't have to stuff more protein in later. Sometimes I gag just thinking about eating. I think about a quote I read...."I no longer live to eat....now I eat to live." I have no reason to complain about weight loss, I have lost over 60 pounds in only 3 months, and I'm almost half-way to my goal. Exercise is a problem. I don't know if I ever told anyone that I'm in a wheelchair most of the time. I can use the walker at home and I'm trying to do that more often. I wish there was a weekend support group that I could join. The closest one I know of is in Topeka which is an hour drive. If anyone knows of one, please let me know. I'm so ready for spring, even more now since I looked at Jan's gardens. We bought our house this past June and I'm ready to get our flower beds started. Steve bought me a miniture rose bush for Valentine's Day. It's beautiful and smells great. Have a wonderful weekend eveyone. Blessings to all................ Trudy

GOD BLESS YOU TODAY

Your weight does fluctuate daily, mine can as much as 2-3 lbs from day to day and a lot of that has to do with if I'm constipated or not. If I ate something salty, etc...... It's not true weight, but more water weight that comes off very quickly or if I have a BM. In other words - it's not fat weight I've gained back. I weigh myself daily, only to keep tabs to make sure my weight is staying within the range it should and not going up, and this has helped me see what my body does with this weight fluctuation. So I don't get hung up on this - I just use the scale as another tool to keep me on track; not something for me to obsess over. If you can see the scale this way, then weight yourself every day; if not, then just weigh once a week.
Exercise: you can do light weights with your arms. Any movement helps. Traci <*)))>< | Sullivan, MO
