Peggy,

Thank you so much for your input... once again I have been encouraged that I am doing the right thing and feel confident in the choices I have made.

I am so glad your WLS surgery went well and feel also confident that you will find the answers you need to these other issues...

You are right  the WLS journey it takes hard work, determination, and persistence, even when you fail you get back up dust yourself off and get going again!

I will be hoping that you see your  weight loss goals met and find success in what you choose to do.

Thank you again for your input.... you sound like you have read some of my post?  I did what you have .... I lurked and lurked and lurked before I got the courage to post and I felt like I knew everyone too... but they didn't know me.... I hope you stick around and let us get to know you a little better...

I'm busy eating with that pesky baby spoon... I'm tell'n ya it sure is trying my patience but I am learning so much from the silly thing... it forces me to take tiny bites and then I automatically remember to chew well.... tonight it was trying to get peas stay on it.... I ended up picking them up with my fingers ~ if that wasn't a sight! sure glad it was just me setting there! ~tee hee ... oh how many years I shoveled in the food with out a thought! ~ha

Peggy once again I wish you the very very best and hope you find just the right person who will be able help you!

Peggy,
Hope someone up that way can help you. Please know that we are all here for you and you can count on us to hug you any time you need it!!! I truly love these folks like family - actuallly better than some family - and they still love me even though I'm absent for days at a time depending on my work load and day of the week. The main thing is that we have a huge bond and just have to love each other unconditionally because we all have had some of the same experiences at one time or another.
Hugs and love and prayers by the millions.

"WLS is about making better choices, a healthier lifestyle and seeing how little you can eat.  Portion control is the key to all weight loss surgeries.  Bottom line - it isn't how much you can eat - it is how little you can eat."

Peggy,
Why don't you email Nola at Dr. Hoehn's office (via his website) and ask her if she has any recommendations? She has been around so long I would think she would. Emailing is the easiest for her and you are more likely to get an answer.
Best of luck from another Dr. Sabapathy patient. And I too worry about Dr. Hoehn and his PA Tim suffering with burnout.

Hi Connie,
Great idea...I have an appointment w/Dr. Hoehn on the15th for my 3 year check up and was going to bring it up then. I didn't even think of emailing Nola before then.  Thanks!

Glad to have been of a little help. I see Dr. Hoehn this Friday well I will probably see PA Tim which I personally prefer. Nothing against Dr. Hoehn but Tim and I have become friends and he has better luck hitting my port.

Hi Peggy:

I live near Harrisonville which is not far from you. I would recommend Thayer & Associates in Harrisonville. Their number is 380-3007.   Their office is located behind Cass Medical Center.

Hope this helps.

Hello...

I grew up between West Line & Freeman with a Cleveland address so I am very familiar with the area.  We probably know some of the same people.  I lived there until the 8th grade or 1978.  (Now I feel really old)

Could you tell me a little more about why you would recommend Dr. Thayer?  Do you know someone who has been to him or his associates?  Thanks and sorry if I'm prying.

Peggy
