WHATS HAPPENING THURSDAY

Hey Everyone,

Today has been a slower day,  we didn’t have to go any where at all, thank the Lord.  The last 3 days of running around has about wore me out,  was nice just to stay home and do things around here.  Kinda slept in a bit, finally after I warmed up some I went for a walk then came back and started doing some chores around here.  I tell ya,  since losing some more weight I am about to freeze already  lol.  We havnt started using the heat yet,  well have had it on a couple times for like 10 min or so just to get the chill out but if it gets any cooler Im either gonna have to put a few layers of cloths on or something  LoL.  Susan sits there and is always hot and Im cold now  lol  last winter it was the other way around. 

Our doctors appts yesterday went good,  I saw the nose specialist about my nasal passages and sinus’s,  I’ve been off the afrin now for awhile and my nose is still always stuffed, esp when I go to use the C-Pap,  he has me flushing my nasal passages with saline and using a prescription nose spray that’s not addicting, it helps alittle, if this don’t work then he said surgery would fix it right up,  I’ll just deal with it like it is for now,  I’ve had enough of surgery’s and hospitals  lol.

Susan saw her wound doctor for her toe and leg,  they seem to be doing good,  she had a very very small spot on her toe again that was turning into a corn so he trimmed that before it turned into a sore and he wants to see her about every month just to check out her feet and all.   She has to go for some more tests tho,  Social Security Disability called her today and wants her to have an X-Ray of her knee which is really bothering her and they want her to get a Doppler test done on her legs and feet to determine how much circulation she has in her feet and toes so please pray the tests help and she can get on disability,  her pcp has already said for her not to be on her feet for a very long period of time cuz of poor circulation.

Jan I noticed right away Joe had put those on the bottom cabinets, they really look good.  This next week Im gonna try and finish antiquing (sp) the cabinets, they should look really nice done like yours.  Hope your dr appointment went ok,  they better find something wrong for as much as they charge medicare.  I got my hospital bill in the mail today,  my goodness the things they charge and how much, its outrageous,  no wonder the government is going broke .  I gotta go see dr. bridges in the morning for a follow up on my b/p,  he better not try to change anything or I’ll smack him  lol.  

Janet yup we both are doing better,  I’m finally getting over the sorness of that angio-gram,  im still swollen some but its gone down,  he said it would take a while for it to go all the way down, at least now I can put on a regular pair of pants without it hurting.   Susan is doing much better too,  we are keeping a close eye on her feet so to catch anything that starts to form.   I had an aunt and uncle that lived in Kansas City all their life, after they retired they were getting around slow cuz of arthritis and stuff so they moved out to Arizona and hardly had a problem with anything,  they both died of old age now but I remember them as a kid moving,  I sure missed them tho cuz I used to go visit them in KC all the time when I was a kid,  we’ll sure keep you and mike and the family in our prayers.

Barbara your Chihuahua sounds soooo cute  lol  poor thing is gonna be hiding where its warm all winter  lol.

Well Im gonna get this posted and go watch some tv.  Hope everyone has a good night,  cant believe its already the weekend again.  My my how time flys.

Ok, wanted to post once more before bed tonight!

I may be too busy tomorrow to post at all!

First off, Mary didnt come help me today so I had a long and busy day of cooking all that food with no help. Just peeling and cutting up 15 pounds of potatoes took awhile! lol! Anyway, got it done and most of the decorating for the lunch. Just have to warm things tomorrow and make coffee and tea and bake the strudels and did I mention, I feel like Im coming down with a cold??? (OH! never mind) too many things to just keep adding to the list! lol! PRAY FOR ME please!

Janet, Yes I have you and Renee down for the 19th and the baby clothes wont be an issue, I think I will have plenty of room.  Now girl, I think we are going to have to assign you a full time body guard to carry you around. I really cannot believe you have hurt yourself again. AND....Arizona??? I would be so sad as well as hundreds of others not to have you around but I know YOU will do what is right for your family and you will listen to what GOD has in store for you. Right?

Renee, Im so glad you talked with Kala and Lee! God is so good to have answered those prayers so quickly so the tension there could be relieved.

Deb (pooh) You are only 2 months out and you WILL be able to eat food again someday...your pouch is just not ready. Im glad you are at least getting in protien and lots to drink. Please know that I am keeping Nikki in my prayers ...bless her little heart. A child should never have to experience those sort of troubles!

Andy, glad to hear things are improving on your end of the world. Hey have you tried a Netty Pot for your sinuses? Rick and I have just started using one. Hoping and praying that Susan gets approval soon..for disability and then on to WLS!

Tammy, isnt it great to be able to do things...even yard work can be fun.  I too am so sorry for anyone who has gotten nasty emails or pm's ...I recieved one myself here while back and they are no fun! I thank you for speaking up about it.
