Went to ER

Ok Gail drove me all the way to Kirksville to Er. Got there told them i was in severe pain in left side and ontop of belly.And have been throwing up blood. First thing they ask is have i **** Sorry but i'm pissed. I said yes i do everyday 2-3 times a day.And whats rather i'm ****ting got to do with throwing up blood?Hook up IV.Take 8 tubes of blood.Make me pee in a cup. I was there less than 45 min.They tell me everything is fine.oh they also xrayed tummy said no bowel blockage. So they dont know whats causeing the pain.I told them not all blockage or twisted bowel will show up on xray.They informed me it will. I get nothing for the flippin pain that has me doubled over except for a script for percocet. Excuse me but yur saying im full of **** but giving me a script that will only make it worse.I told them to call Columbia ask for bariatric fellow they inform me it wont do anygood no one will be there cuz of holiday. If i havent totally lost my mind i do believe holiday is over. So they tell me to call them myself tomorrow.WTF???????????? I hurt and they did absolutly nothing. And in less than 45 min my lbs are back ,normal **** test fine and they ran less than a 1/4 of bag of fluids in me.So i am home with hubby who will take care of me.They can all go flippin flip theirselves.
I am so pissed i cant see straight.

Holy crap Deb...If you dont feel any better by the morning...than you need to go to columbia. I know thats quite a drive, but better safe than sorry. Seems like your just getting the run a round there at that hospital. Keep us posted and Im saying a prayer for you tonight...

 Thanks Cor. I am just so frustraed and upset right now i just wanna cry. They treated me like i was lieing about my pain and the blood.I dont go to Er or Dr unless i absolutly need to so it really bothers me they done that.

I am sorry to hear that, sounds like a great ER huh. I guess they can't all be good. I think Colunbia is the best place for you. Call your doctor soon.

I used to live in Kirksville and their hospital has quite a reputaatation.  Like the time they did a MRI on a guy with a pacemaker and killed him.  Just skip it and head on to Columbia.
