WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY
I wondered if Thursday was as nasty looking to everyone or just us here? It rained a couple of times. Not hard but enough to get wet and for the barometer to drop and make me hurt and get so sleepy...do the rest of you do that too? get sleepy when the barometer is low?
Today is suppose to be beautiful and I sure do hope so....i know we need the rain but Lordy im tired of rain.and I need to get some plants in the garden ...but will need to get the chicken wire up around the bottom of the taller fence too so the rabbits cant get in. those darn wabbits...
I sure didn’t do much any thing yesterday...i sure hope I get more done today...
Oh I got my shipment of the new creamy bites of calcium citrate from bariatric Advantage and I was so excited to get them , even tho I had taken all my calcium for the day I couldn’t resist opening a package of them and getting one out...the first thing I noticed was that they were a lot smaller....i opened it up and doesn’t look like the old ones either, put it in my mouth and was very disappointed...they aren’t bad but they aren’t good like the old ones were. What good did it do to buy the rights to them if they didn’t want to make them like they were. . I probably will be sending mine back except for the package I opened. Will bring them with me to the next meeting and you all can taste them before you order them...but I am calling them tomorrow and letting them know how unimpressed I am and ask them why when they got the rights to make them they didn’t buy the recipe too...lol
SUSAN::::::call me in the morning when you all get ready to go walking...i will get up early enough and take my pain meds and maybe will be ready to go with you all. Not sure how far I can get but I have got to get back to walking. I need that if I am going to have enough energy to do all the things I have to do ...
You are doing so well and I don’t know that I have seen anyone look as good as you when you are only 2 weeks out. Just take it easy on eating , don’t be real fast to add too much...i would say only add one new food about every couple of days....i know the idea of some things just sound so very good but just be careful ok? I am so happy about your blood sugars, and im sure you will find out with your labs that you don’t need any more of your cholestrial meds.
I hope the kitchen floor now is going to be good to go for quite some time. ..one of these days we really will get all of this stuff done for you all...
BEC:::::: why do you think I am having computer problems? Don’t think so if you noticed anything it is probably because I have been being so tired and out of it that I just cant keep my eyes open past 8pm I guess it is because I have been getting up so early in the mornings. Don’t know why but I have been waking up at 3:30 every day...
Oh before I forget,,,I will bring you some more of those lilies when I come up at the end of this month. Ok? Anything else you would like to have some of?
Isn’t it great to be able to work outside all day and not get winded and tired...well I get tired but not like I use to and when I sit down and think about what all I got done it was a lot so have the right to be tired....
I planted foxglove, goats beards and cyclamen today, plus cleaned out almost half of a big iris bed out in front of shade garden.
Wow wonder what was going on with Paul yesterday and doing liquids? He is like Joe I would be wondering what in the world was happening... don’t think I have to worry about him tho cause he will never give up his junk lol
Did you go walk at wal mart? I cant do that I find too many things to stop and look at lol

Oh well one day you will be able to eat a bite or two of her enchiladas...not a couple of enchiladas but a bite or two....that is the neat thing about this surgery...we can say no , we can back away, we CHOOSE, not our stomachs’ or minds.
Lol yeah if someone had told us how gross we looked I don’t think it would have done much good lol

Good morning to all.did anyone else get any rain.it sure looked like night time around here yesterday.we sure are ready for some shine.this rain must have plant food in it.the grass is growing soo fast.lol.soon will be time to get out the lawn mower.
walking has been pretty good for me.andy and i went to the lake again yesterday.we got to walk one time before the rain started.
i am taking my time eating.i dont drink anything 30 minute's before or after i eat.that is what the book said to do.andy tell's me that also.he has been a big help to me.cottage cheese,sugar free pudding are some of ther food's i can get down good but i only eat a little at a time.thursday i will know what other med's i will be off of when i get to see my regular doctor.
jan i agree with you about the rain.we need it but we need to get some thing's planted in the garden.
bec is paul still doing the liquid's with you?that is great he is doing them with you.show's you he really love's you.how is your garden doing these day's.your chicken's sound like they are growing up.is tito still mother hen to them.
lou we are looking foward to seeing you and your mom at the meeting.we won;t know you.i am coming right along with my weight loss.i do feel soo much better.we love mexican food too.andy can make good mexican food too.he is a good cook.

I'm sorry you are having troubles with pain, drowsiness and such... I have that same trouble with the sleeping. It's maddening! I exercise so much that I'm plumb tuckered by mid afternoon.... I just can't get up at 3:30 and 4:30 a.m. and make it all day... and if I do I'm just dysfunctional in the evening and falling asleep standing up almost.... I have noticed that since I started turning the fan on at night that I am sleeping a bit longer. I also think I may be anemic... I will know soon as I have fasting labs drawn, thats on Monday morning. I'm thinking I may need an iron supplement?
The reason I asked if you were having puter trouble is your part of the post on my puter was the same for Wednesday and Thursday... so I thought maybe your puter was posting wrong again like it was doing before? But it is new today.
That would be great if you have the lilies to bring me... I would love to have some pink peony starts too... heck I don't even know if you can do that or not? And do you have any more pink holly hock seeds... they did not come up last year? Maybe I did them wrong? Could you tell me again about them... I want to put a patch on each side of the garden shed where I have the seedum planted.
You know that really beautiful lilly (it was a hybrid of some type) Jo brought me last year and I planted it... is coming up! Yippee... I can't wait to see it bloom! It was so beautiful and smells a whole lot!
How do you plant cyclamen ? By seeds? I love those plants?

No Paul only did the one partial day of liquids... I just could NOT see him doing that... he tried again yesterday but got a busting head ache... He has never restricted himself that I can ever remember.
I think Tito will be a permanent "overseer" of the ladies! ~ha
I opened the door yesterday and was talking to the ladies and the one came right on over and decided she liked my "mothers ring" it has a sapphire in it that caught her eye so she tried to peck at it! You know what she did .... I had put some feed in my hand so she would eat out of my hand... that meant the ring was face down and she got her head way under my hand and still pecked at the ring! Was too funny... she is going to a be smart thing! But there is only one out of the eight so far that really stands out and FOR SURE is Paul's favorite! She will be riding on Paul's shoulder before long and Tito will be having a fit!
Mimi ~ I did go walk at Wal~Mart but I'm not going to do it again when I'm doing liquids! Every where I looked yesterday there was FOOD FOOD FOOD. And today I have to go get groceries for Paul's lunch... sometimes I wish we did not have to eat EVER! ~ha
Well I can see the sun shining! Yippee! I'm really tired of being cold again... did I tell you that I got two pair of those "old fashioned" long handles this week on clearance? You know the kind you see the cowboys wearing on the westerns? ~tee hee I didn't even know they still made those... I will be so glad for them next winter when I'm out pounding the dirt! ~tee hee
Well better get going on the day... have quite a bit I want to get done again today...

I know I shouldn't complain about the weather but for crying out loud....it's April and I still have my furnace running! (Most of the time) And I know perfectly well it is just going to go straight to HOT and skip the beautiful spring weather I dearly love. Oh well, it is Missouri after all.
I haven't done anything at the farm this week since I need the boxes from storage and the weather hasn't cooperated. If hubby strikes then we will get a lot done in the next few weeks. If they don't strike, then full fledged panic will be setting in shortly. If he's not forced in Saturday then we will move boxes out of storage and I can get started cleaning and pricing. I am SO ready for this phase of my life to be OVER! And I KNOW you all are sick of hearing about it!!!
Nothing else going on here. I did manage to get the house cleaned yesterday...woot! Now I won't have to worry about the dust for a few days. It's amazing how dirty a house can get from two people and a cat.

I have been checking the board but, busy enough not to reply. I have a booth in Harrisonville Trade Fair, which has used and antique things. My booth hasn't been doing well enough to pay it's rent so, I have been getting it ready for 50% off sale and will close it at the end of the month. Haven't had much interest in it since my sister died, can you believe it has been a year the 27Th of this month? I am having a hard time with it right now. I will get through it.
Baby has been fighting an allergy to "of all things" a tick. It's been the darnest thing. She got one between her toes of all places, the leg she broke, and it swelled up and was all red and we took her to the Vet and he put her on antibiotics. It is getting better but has her down alot, she stays off it alot. She will be fine. It looks better each day.
My days are so average, I don't have much to say most days. Too boring even for me to write about.
I do enjoy all the things everyone else does.
