Oh my what a day from....

Hello everyone....yes it's me Cor...lol and Im still alive here at the residental home where I work....Tomorrow will be a week!!!
Let me tell you, I love the job that I do...BUT....I will sure be glad to go home to my own home...lol
So here is my day....Everything starts out really good for being 5am....got breakfast cooked and served....got meds all given....vitals all done....K...time for me a hot shower...sweet right....yea well got out of shower and knock, knock on my door...so I quickly get dressed and there stands a repair man for my heater in my room....great...here I stand with hair all wet and looking like a drowned rat...lol oh well such as life right....so I go start getting things done and the residents are all getting restless and getting into that "I need this and I need that mood"....NOT....lol so got Lunch cooked and got them all medicated again...lol and went to make a pot of Chili for dinner....so I frying the hamburger and all of the sudden the back burner (which is not on btw) goes "pop, snap and crackel and starts smoking....what the hell!! Scared me to death....so then the hole stove is now not working....great now what am I going to do.....lol One of the residents family members came in about that time and says you probably just blew a fuse...so he goes down to the breaker box and resets it for me right.....well all of the sudden all the burners are all glowing red....what the....None of the knobs are even turned on....OMG...whats going on....so he runs down and turns the breaker back off because all we could smell is like wires burning......Oh my what more can happen this week....
So Im waiting to find out when there going to bring me a new stove...I have 11 residents that are going to need to be feed....made due tonight and will be ok for breakfast....I put a roast in the crock pot for lunch...but I will be pushing it for any other meals....I just want to go home.....lol
As far a me....will I started out a week or so ago in snug 8's and now in a week there almost falling off.... And to answer those questions that are going through you minds.....No Im not eating well this week....Im so busy and tired that food is just not the first thing that I think about....I do try to get something in though...but not nearly the amount that Im suppost to....will be working on it as soon as I get home...
Please keep me in your prayer...If I dont get out of here soon...I may be a resident myself....lol

lol i know exactly how you feel, call the main office in Sedalia and tell them they HAVE to get someone down there for you to have a break....i know you are busy but you need to take care of yourself sweetie...and you really need to eat ....yikes an 8 wow sure wish i could get my butt into an 8...i have decided that ill never get there. .....take care of yourself...and you will have to demand a day off or they will just let you sit there. lol i know.

I know you care about everyone there but if you do not take care of yourself first you won't be able to take care of them. We do not want to see you as a resident there(oh wait  you kinda are-HAHA). You have to get out of there and unwind.Start eating and get some rest.
