Does anyone know of a support group around Springfield, Missouri, that is not the St. John's one? (did NOT care for that one!).
My partner and I are wanting to come together. We are both long term post ops.
We would like a diverse group, not overly religious, and well-structured.
Thank you!

we would love to have you at the one Andy mentioned but we certainly arent well structured. we try to talk about things that are problems to our members but we do not have speakers and such. we think we as people who have had the surgery are probably as knowlegedable as the (experts)
we have pre ops , post ops and RNYS and Lapbands .......

No, I don't mean structured in that way. You described the other support group!
I just mean not a totally open meeting with several conversations going at once. We'd like one that the leader has a format to follow and has planned a topic or something to cover ahead of time. ya know?
One of the other things we didn't care for was the other group broke out into smaller groups.
Total chaos!
