WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY

Thursday was wet wet wet all day didn’t stop raining until about 5pm and then we spent another hour at least drying things out that had gotten wet. But we were really surprised about how little things did get wet. Was only in a couple of corners. But for the most part we stayed good and dry….I sure am glad that we brought our heated mattress pad….that is a lifesaver…it is suppose to get down fairly cold for the next couple of night.

Have heard some wonderful sermons the few days and nights… really inspiring ….they said tonight that by the time Friday nights there is suppose to be over 4000. Bikers here. Can you imagine that sort of camp site. All the tents all the bikes all those bikers. Wow…amazing. I tried to take some pictures but there is no where that you can get to really get a good angle to show the magnitude of it ….

Hopefully tomorrow will be bright and sunny for us ….but I can tell you all the soggy weather the devil throws at us , doesn’t make a bit of difference. …Seems that every year there is a day at least that it rains and tries to mess things up but we just do a different service…

Tomorrow , Friday, we are riding out to a place that is an orphanage for special needs kids ….will eat lunch and everyone will donate to them ….Bikers are generous to a fault especially to kids ….so they do pretty good …there will probably be at least 500 bikes going out there….

We were suppose to go to the middle school today but their school was torn up last year in the tornado and they are spread out every where….so I think they are coming out here tomorrow after noon …

There will be rides and games for them to watch and participate in …like being the flag people and such..

JANET It is hard to imagine that many bikers all in one place isn’t it? But it is true I wish I could let you all see how many tents and people and bikes there are here. Is amazing.

The meals that are made for us we all go at the same time and get in lines usually about 4 of them and away we go…it sometimes takes 30 minutes of standing in line…but then a lot of people go out to eat they go to town or somewhere and a lot of them cook for themselves at their campsite…

The seminars are all decided before we ever get here and then you are given a list of them and can decide for yourself what you want to go to.

Friday nights are a big concert from usually a named gospel group or singer. Last year was Dallas Holmes, I cant think of who it is this year lol I cant find my pamplet either so will tell you all later. Im sure they will be great.

Even a lot of the town people come out to the concert and to the church services at night too.

Keep praying for everyone here as it is a wonderful life affirming time.

RENEE it sounds like you are having one wonderful time …im so glad that you got to go there ….I know you are anxious to get home to that baby tho….how is it that you havent ever seen your sister? Just wondered …you know me nosey….hope you all have a safe trip home. And that Larry gets another project soon….He evidently is self employed then huh? That always sounds good but isn’t sometimes.

JEANIE=RAE::: yes you can overcome all the old cravings or at least daily overcome them . It is just a matter of your saying NO I wont…and realizing that nothing tastes as good as being healthy and free feels

You have to realize that those foods that we ate before arent good even tho they might taste good for a moment they don’t taste good in afterthought…you know those afterthoughts of (why did I eat that feelings???

Overcoming those old demons are what will keep you at 3 years , 5 years and on down the road from gaining your weight back….. You will do well just have to determine what your choices are….my passion now is fruit …I was like you breads and pastas and potatoes were mostly my demons. But I have found substitutes. And I like them better. Green veggies are great now …and seems I crave the veggies and fruits now like I use to crave the bad things.

I did nothing yesterday. I tried to get into some crafts but just couldn't think. I have my second funeral to go to this weekend. The body arrived at Dover Air Base yesterday. Its really going to be hard. The family has has to endure so much. With the grey rainy days and deaths around me my mood is not the best. Hopefully things will get better before the holidays.
I will get to see family for thanksgiving so I am looking forward to that. My person issues are getting better so things are looking up. Just gotta get thru this week.
I hope you all have a good day.

Hello Everyone,
I'm trying to get motivated so I can start packing. We are heading home tomorrow. I'm sure going to miss it here, and being able to spend so much time with Larry. Maybe that's why I'm in no hurry to pack, but then again I will get to see my Noah. From the pic's Kala has posted on facebook he looks like he has grown a bunch since I've been gone. I know 2 weeks isn't long but in baby time it sure is. Looking forward to seeing all the new thing's he can do.
We had a blast yesterday at Memory Lane, I have never seen so many old car's in my life in one place. There was also alot of one of a kinds and OMG at all the toy's. LOL We were looking at the toy's and I'm standing there going I had that, I had that, and that. Oh to have those toys back now. LOL
They are calling for rain to start tonight, I sure hope it holds off until we get home or at least get the explorer packed. Hopefully I will stay awake going at this end of the trip this time, on the way up I crashed out. LOL I fought it for along time and then just gave in and snoozed like a baby.
I would like to ask for prayer for one of my little adopted grandson's Keegun, I found out last night he has the swine flu. I don't have any other info besides that, I've been trying and trying to get ahold of Natasha but haven't been able to yet. I'm sure she has her hands full right now though. Thanks everyone.

Jan my dad hasn't ever met my sister Crystal either, he got around back in his wilder day's. My other sister Vicki found her on facebook a few months ago and we've been talking ever since. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it works out for us to meet.

Janet not much longer now sis. I will call you when I get home. Love you.

I hope EVERYONE has a wonderful and BLESSED day.
Love and Hugs

Renee

Hey there MO OH,

Well my med. records are now at Dr. Edwards office and after they process everything to see if I qualify for my ins. then guess they will make my first appointment.

I know this could take awhile but now that the ball is rolling I will just take it easy and go with the flow.

Hope everyone has a good weekend you are in my thoughts and prayers.
