Who is watching you?

I had an experience this past fall that I found quite remarkable. I live in a small town. One day this summer I was out with my girls when we went into a local gas station/mini-mart. One of the clerks who I have known of but really didn't know, came up to me and asked me if I was Mormon. She told me that she was interested in learning about the Mormon church and wanted to know if I knew how to get in touch with the missionaries. What was remarkable about this situation was that I had never had a conversation with this young woman (I think she might be about 24). She guessed I was LDS just by my behavior. To make a long story short. I attended her baptism last month. My patriarchal blessing told me that people would be observing me and I would never realize it. It brought home the importance of my living the gospel every single day because I would never know when someone was observing me. What a wonderful gift the gospel has given us. I find it a lot easier to live the gospel than to NOT live the gospel. May we each have a blessed year and be of good influence to others. Melody
