Went to Church Today.

Hey everyone. We finally made it to church as a family today. I was half afraid that the church was going to fall down around our ears. LOL. We are now having one on one meetings with our bishop. He is seeing Chad and I individually. He is so wonderful. I told him that I was drinking coffee on a regular basis and in all honesty I have no intentions of quitting. Well, duh. I won't want to quit while I'm not being active and attending church regularly. I think once that happens the urge to quit will come. It also helps that church is now 1:30-4:30 instead of at 9:30. I admit, I'm lazy. I need my sleep. So....I'm one for one. Ask me next sunday. Tammy

Good for you Tammy. That's a start. I think it's great that you chose a fast sunday to attend as well. I love our Fast and Testimony meetings. We rarely have a break between testimonys and we often run over because people just don't want the meeting to end. Line upon Line, Precept upon precept. Take it one step at a time and before you know it, it will become an old habit again. Keep going Tammy, I know our Heavenly Father was very proud of you yesterday. Melody

Good for you Tammy one week at time one minute at a time. I too was drinking coffee when I went back to church and the last to give up lol. If the Prophet said it was ok to drink coffee I would go get me a can today I just love the stuff I go by it in the grocrie store just to smell it lol. I agree about the time. I have move to a small town so we only have one ward and it meets at ten that isnt to bad but I think 130 would be better. lol Ruthy one minute at a time.
