Family Prayer and Scripture Study

We have been having family prayer and scripture study daily for almost 2 weeks ago. Truthfully, we have missed a day here and there but we keep plugging at it. We have just been letting each family member pick the scripture they feel they want to share and then that person says the family prayer. My oldest keeps complaining about having to do it every night but on his night to share and say the prayer, he's the first one ready to go. LOL. We always discuss what that scripture means to us. Sometimes it's just 1 verse, sometimes it's a few. Once it was a whole chapter. And we have also turned Monday night into an ACTUAL family home eveing. We used to just play board games that night, but now we have a real lesson, then we play a board game, and then we have a dessert. And not a low calorie one either. We can see a difference already. Yeah, my kids still fight and disobey, and so forth. But not so much now. And when they do they have been quick to apologize and fix it. Things are looking up. Tammy
