This board is lagging!!! Let's see who's here and what's going on with everybody. I am currently in the middle of moving into a lovely, newly renovated house. we rented it "as is" and some friends of ours decided to put their time and (quite a bit of) their money into re-doing this house. It is GORGEOUS. Kyle graduates college Friday and I'm having a HUGE party for him Saturday. The kids are doing well. I am currently almost 11 weeks along with #3 (right now we call him "Wilbur Singleton") I can't wait to return to our "home" ward next week! So, what's everyone else doing? Daph

I didn't get on the board at all yesterday and didn't see your Roll Call shout out. We just finished our two day Stake Conference. It was wonderful. I sat in the very front both for the Saturday night session and the Sunday session. I swear it seemed to me that the Stake Presidency when they talked often looked directly into my eyes. I took what they said very seriously and knew the messages were meant for me. I have a goal this year to attend the temple every month. Our next trip is planned for 3 days from now. It's wonderful to be able to go. Our home teachers came last night. They brought with them a gift. They brought me my very own copy of the DVD "The Testament". We'll watch it for Family Home evening tonight. It seems like time just flies. I'm subbing at the school several times a month which is plenty for me. I sub all grades. Actually it feels more like I babysit at the school. It isn't very often that I actually get to "teach" which is a good thing because it's been 30 years since I graduated from high school. Thanks for the "Shout out". We do need to show our support for each other and be more responsive on this board. Melody

Here I am - as usual - late to the party!!! My husband was called to the Bishopric 3 months ago, and a just few months before that I was called to the Stake Primary on top of my ward librarian calling and with a full time job and kids ... whew! I could never have done this 100 lbs ago. Laurie

I'm here...not as much as I should be, but I check it every so often. Lots happening with me. My son came home from his mission mid March. We had a new grand daughter born in March. It was a great month. My mom came down from Idaho and spent the month with us enjoying all the activities. She left the day after Easter to go home...April 9th. She got home the 10th and then had a massive heart attach and died. The police found her the next day after I had made so many calls to see if she got home okay. We called the PD and they went to her home. We had her funeral last weekend and I'm still shell shocked. She was the best mom and we are all going to miss her so much. I'm struggling with little things like walking by the bedroom she slept in here at my house and seeing it set up exactly as she left it. I picture her sitting there and reading which she loved. I had to take her brand new walker back to Walmart and return it. That was so hard. I've been reading her history/journal and missing her. I know time will help but it will never be the same without my mother friend to talk to about so many things. Christy

Christy, I'm sorry about the pain you are feeling over the loss of your mother. What a blessing and a gift you were given to be able to spend the last month of her life with her. Our Heavenly Father truely loves us to give us such unexpected gifts. (hugs) Melody

My apologies for not checking in more often! I LOVE this site and come here when I need a little extra "comfort chatting"! I had my oldest son, his wife and my 2 baby grand daughters move in with us on New Years Day......I had major gynecological surgery the end of January, started a new job for a plastic surgury center (they focus on post- bariatric body contouring) the end of Feb, and just married my one and only daughter in the Mesa Temple on Sat the 19th of May! Whew! 2007 has been non stop survival for me! I've been throwing 10 pounds back and forth and can't figure out whether I want to do the work required to keep it off. I've got to regroup, renegotiate with my new employer and get myself to the gym for some regular workouts! If anyone is interested in an amazing plastic surgeon; then let me know! I'll make sure that you get the "Joyce discount"! Hugggzzz to all and keep up the good fight against carbs, sugar, fat, calories Joyce in az
