:wave: Long time

Hi fellow LDSers.. I love this gospel I do not want to think of what kind of life I would have had without. Its the best. on the 23 it will be three years since my surgery. I am doing well. At times I still eat what I want and will suffer for it. Fried food is the worse. or soft Ice cream like from mcdonalds. So I need that slap in gut to let me behave. Would Love to hear from all of you., Ruth

When I look at your picture, I can't hardly believe you are the same person who came to this board just over 3 years ago. You have really become a butterfly from a caterpiller. You were pretty before but now you are BEAUTIFUL! I know what you mean about the soft ice cream. Not much cause me to dump but soft ice cream is a definate culprit for me. Until you mentioned soft ice cream, I knew that I had dumped after eating it but until you mentioned it I had never realized that I dump EVERY time after eating it. I learned something today. Thank you. Just when we think we know our own bodies, we are oblivious to obvious things. Someoone would think that something as important as the surgery date would be easy to remember. I remember the date - March 8th. But I'll be hard pressed to remember the year. It's been just over 3 three years or just over 4 years for me. Would I do it again? In a heart beat. It's the best thing I've ever done. I'm about 30 lbs lower than my surgeons goal weight for me but I'm at a weight that is comfortable , feels and looks good on my frame. Life is good. Nice to meet you! I love this gospel too! Converting is the best thing I have ever done. Im thankful for all that I have in my life and how blessed Heavenly Father made us. Im getting my WLS Sept 25th! So fast coming! What kind of WLS did you have?
