Looks Like This Board is Lighting Up!!!

Hi All. It is nice seeing all of the conversations from others who understand and believe the same way... I am now scheduled for surgery: 6/22/04. I am nervous, but know that Heavenly Father wants me to be around for my kids. I know I have to overcome "the temptations of the flesh" and change my eating ways. (Sounds like it could be a song.) I feel nervous and apprehensive, but am looking forward to having the energy to be more of a participant in my children's lives--just as I know HF would want me to. --Brett! BMI 46, 353 lbs.

Hi Brett. I just found this community forum today. I love it. I plan on visiting here at least once a day, unless it gets busy and then I'll spend a lot of time here. The gospel teaches us about the importance of food storage. I have my year supply of food already - I just choose to carry it around with me Not for long. I plan to be someone who more closely follows the word of wisdom by having moderation in all I eat. Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. It woun't be long now. Melody
