Baby Shower gift idea

There are five women in our ward who are expecting babies. Because my name is Melody I thought it would be appropriate to get the new mommies and babies a copy of the Childrens Song Book on CDs. My children LOVE the children's song book on CD. We have them playing a lot at our house. I ordered 6 copies from the Church Distribution Center. They were less than $4.50 a set. An inexpensive baby gift and one the baby won't out grow. Thought I'd share. Melody

That is very cheap. I know we bought them few years ago for around the same price. Great idea. I thought I would share something that one of my Aunt's gave to another aunt who is going to have twins ANY DAY --- like this weekend I am sure... She gave her $30 to buy 2 trees = one for each of the girls.. I have never heard of doing this and thought it was a great idea. Thanks for sharing on the CD's. I never thought about doing that for shower gift. Gala

I have made blessing blankets for the sisters in our ward. I then make a blanket for every day use. It keeps me busy and I feel so good when I do it. Donna
