Okay, I'd like to know you all better, so I'll give a try at asking questions today...... 1. What was the last thing someone did for you that really touched your heart? 2. If your home burned to the ground, and your loved ones and pets all got out safe....what ONE object would you most want to save from fire. You only get one item. 3. If you have had your surgery, have you picked an item of 'fat' clothing to keep and always recall your size...what is it? If you are pre-op, do you have one in mind? 4. What gospel principle brings you the most joy? Okay, here's my answers: 1. What was the last thing someone did for you that really touched your heart? They told me I was doing a great job teaching in my new job (I am teaching nursing assistants to prepare for the state exam) and that I'm the first teacher who has taught to LOVE the patients.....the skills come easier if you love someone. I needed to hear that support at the time, I was filled with self doubts...... 2. If your home burned to the ground, and your loved ones and pets all got out safe....what ONE object would you most want to save from fire. You only get one item. I would want my computer CD holder...it's got all our photos on CD's..... 3. If you have had your surgery, have you picked an item of 'fat' clothing to keep and always recall your size...what is it? If you are pre-op, do you have one in mind? I kept my jeans.....I stretched those babies out until they were begging for mercy....size 24, but I know I was really into a 26. 4. What gospel principle brings you the most joy? The idea of being sealed to my family is my main hand hold to the gospel. I can't imagine existing without them. The idea that we can become as Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother is wonderful....I want to design flowers if I make it that high up...

Hey there Tracey! Great questions. I really love your desire to design flowers! Never thought of that! LOL I just love it. 1. What was the last thing someone did for you that really touched your heart? My Dh, dd and dsil are constantly doing sweet things for me that touch me. Today, my dsil brought me some refried beans from one of my favorite restaurants. He is so thoughtful. 2. If your home burned to the ground, and your loved ones and pets all got out safe....what ONE object would you most want to save from fire. You only get one item. Been there and done that! Husbands precious vintage guitar. Most everything else can be replaced. 3. If you have had your surgery, have you picked an item of 'fat' clothing to keep and always recall your size...what is it? If you are pre-op, do you have one in mind? I have a dress and a pair of jeans saved. 4. What gospel principle brings you the most joy? The principle that we will be sealed forever and reunited with our loved ones. Even the ones we don't remember because I know we love each other. (I am an avid genealogist)

I have to say though the thing that touched me MOST - in Dec my hubby was out of work - a person dressed as Santa left bikes for each of my kids on our front porch, along with about 40 other presents. I thought it was going to be a slim pickins Christmas, but thanks to "Santa" the kids had a wonderful time! 2. 1. What was the last thing someone did for you that really touched your heart? When I was in the hospital last month for my surgery 2 things. First my best friend Danna spent 2 days w/me. She felt that it was minor compared to the weeks on end I spent w/her in the hospital. Also my primary care physician called me from her home after she got home from work and talked to me for nearly an hour. She knew that I was very depressed having to be in the hospital longer than I should and she was being supportive. 2. 1. What was the last thing someone did for you that really touched your heart? A: My brother-in-law got his endowments out on the 11th and I wasn't going to be able to go. My sister-in-law left work early (not getting paid) and watched our kids. And a friend watched our kids for about a half an hour so we could get to the session on time. It was a pain for everyone but they were all so determained to get me there. It was wonderful of them to do. 2. Should I have said my Book of Mormon? I can look at it online when I get a new computer. ;) 3. I was just so anxious to make room for the new clothes. Maybe I still have something hanging around. 4. What gospel principle brings you the most joy? A: Repentance/ The Atonement. It's amazing to me.

Its saturday morning and its raining cats and dogs here in my corner of Texas so this is wonderful to have some more questions to read and respond to. So lets see here...... 1. I think when my boss recently told someone ..no I'll have Alfreda take care of it becasue I know it will be done and it will be right...my chin hit the floor. I guess we all need that pat on the back from time to time. 2. If your home burned to the ground, and your loved ones and pets all got out safe....what ONE object would you most want to save from fire. You only get one item. Thats a very tough one. I have a gold chain that my Mother bought for me for Christmas several years ago. My Father had passed away the year before and money was just not there. She had asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I said a gold necklace...I was in my teens and didn't realize how tight the money was at the time. But she got me that necklace and then years later of course I found out how difficult that had been. She is my perfect example of sacrifice ' for others. 3. I have a pair of jeans size 28 that were getting way toooo tight and also a top zixe 2x that was also stretched to probable a 4x. 4. What gospel principle brings you the most joy? I love knowing that I'm sealed to my sweetheart forever but I also am so very thankful for the principle of Repentance. Thanks TRACEY Alfie

1. What was the last thing someone did for you that really touched your heart? My health was not very good but I still taught a preschool for 8 children the entire school year last year. As a surprise all the mom's went together and got me some thank you pre-school gifts that had gone with our pre-school name (Our school was called "Little Lamb Pre-school"). I was very surprised and very touched to know how the moms appreciated all I had accomplished. 2. If your home burned to the ground, and your loved ones and pets all got out safe....what ONE object would you most want to save from fire. You only get one item. My dh and I own an ambulance service and I do all the ambulance paper work. I would have to grab the records. Without the records there would be no money coming in from patient transports. 3. If you have had your surgery, have you picked an item of 'fat' clothing to keep and always recall your size...what is it? If you are pre-op, do you have one in mind? I saved one pair of size 26 jeans. 4. What gospel principle brings you the most joy? The knowledge that Heavenly Father knows me personally and has a plan for me. Melody
