LDS OSSG WLS GROUP

Any of you a member of this group: Latter-day Saint (Mormon) subgroup of OSSG (Obesity Surgery Support Group If so what are your thoughts on it? Do you like it? Not, is is active ect ect. Gala

Gala I've never heard of this group before. Where would one go to look for this group site? While we're on the subject of Melody being lost and behind the times, I've heard members on this site mention the "Over 50 forum". I've looked for it and I can't find it. Where is it at? What's it under? I feel like I live in my own little world. I don't get out much and obviously I don't live a very exciting life. Melody

I went to Yahoo Groups and did a search "LDS WLS" and that is what came up. As for the Over 50 Forum here is the link... http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/amosforums/over_50/posts/ I am not sure if I will join the OSSG group. I am thinking about starting my own LDS WLS group on Yahoo. I have had others tell me that if I do to let them know. But a lot of my online friends are not lds and don't know I am. So I will see. Anyone else intersted in a Yahoo group?? Gala

Gala, I think this is a pretty good form too. Do you not like it? If there are people who are not here, get them here cause this is an awsome web site. What would be the benefit of having a yahoo group? I don't really care for the way yahoo groups are put together. To much advertisement. But let me know what you do. Thanks.

It isn't that I don't like this group at all! I love it!!! Please don't take me wrong. I belong to 2 yahoo groups that are specifically for LDS moms and I have a sub group of that - that I moderate. Depending upon the Yahoo group - I don't like them either. I just was looking to see what was out there. I also get the yahoo things to my email. Then I don't have to deal w/the advertisments. Gala
