Good morning and Happy Friday
Where is everybody??? I miss ya'll
Just wanted to send a wish for a wonderful weekend out to everyone. My saturday will be filled with getting things ready for Thanksgiving..last minute shopping, house cleaning, and that sort of thing.
My step-sons wife is expecting their fourth child any day now and one of her friends is giving her a baby shower this saturday as well. So will be a very busy day for me. I decided to do a clothes basket full of newborn diapers, baby wipes, bibs, socks and a nice warm sweater outfit for Mom for their gift this time. She has in the past got tons of baby clothes so I decided to be a little practical..haha I did get the baby a stuffed toy too.
Hope you have a great day!!

Morning Alfie!
I haven't posted in a while. I was on vacation for 2 weeks and then got home and got busy planning a blood drive and christmas activity (they're two seperate events). I've also been busy trying to keep up with the house, which is mission: impossible lately. My hubby's been working 7 days a week and going to school 3 times a week. So, it's been just me trying to keep up with the house and kids.
I'm starting to get close to my personal goal. I've passed the Dr.'s by 15 lbs. now and am only 5 lbs. from my goal of 140. I think I'll definetally pass it by Christmas. I've lost a total of 128 so far. Hurray for me! I feel great but boy, my 'chest' could use some work! 2 more kids and I'm goin' under the knife. I hope I can wait that long.
Well, I hope you make it through the day. Sounds very busy. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Hydi I wondered where you had dissappeared to. It's good to see that you were on vacation and having some fun.
Congratulations on surpassing your doctors goal and coming close to your personal goal. That's exciting.
I'm probably within 5 pounds of my doctors goal for me but am still 25 pounds from my personal goal.
I'm finally wearing a size 18 jean with a size large blouse. I dream of the day I can wear a size 10 jean or less.
Good to have you back.

Wow, great for you! I finally fit into a 10. I kind of skipped 12 although they'd probably be very comfortable to wear right now. This is all very exciting. I keep thinking how badly I need work done but with another 2 on the way (someday) I think it would be wise to wait.
I've got something strange going on. It's kind of gross so I apologize. I've heard of people getting 'an odor' under their excess skin flaps and somehow I've been lucky with that but all of a sudden my belly button's starting to smell. It's kind of caved in on it's self and it has extra skin over it anyways. So, what's to be done about this. I'm just glad my nose isn't any closer to my button than it is!
Good to talk to you again. I've been so busy that I haven't been able to check in much. I hope things start to hop around here again, though. Maybe after the holidays, huh?
Hydi - you're going to have to explain something to me because I missed it somewhere along the way. What do you mean when you talk about needed to have work done "but with another 2 on the way (someday)" What are you referring to?
You're doing fabulous to be able to wear a size 10. I bet it feels good.
Hope your Thanksgiving was a good one.

I'm so proud of both of you!!!
I just made it to sixe XL in blouses...I keep hoping my waist will start shrinking more...seems to be the spot that doesn't want to go down very fast. I've gone from tight size 26 jeans to size 22. The 22's are big in the butt but around the waist there just right.
The fact that I haven't been excercising the way I should may have a lot to do with it.
Have a wonderful day..good to see you both on the board again.
Love ya
Alfie
