Church Policy question

What is the church's stance on having meetings in the building that are not church related? I am going to be the OH Chapter Leader in the Madison WI area. At Monday nights training Monica suggested that I ask my church if I attend or other churches in the area. Do you know what the policy is? Is there a policy? Is it up to whomever to decide in each stake/ward? Gala

Gala, I too love your picture. I just spoke with our building scheduler about the cookie exchange I am holding. (I am a masochist, I guess. lol) I asked him your question and he said, "Absolutely. It is done all the time as long as it doesn't interfere with the ward plans and never on Monday evening." He told me about several groups that use our building. Hope that helps. Grins, Kaye
