In holding to Gala's wonderful idea about starting a "What's new" thread, I promised her I would participate. I was sooo depressed and despondent yesterday, cried most the day. My wonderful DH took me out on a date. We went to our local theater and watched the movie "Finding Neverland" with Johnny Depp and Kate Winslow. I knew nothing about the movie going into it. In fact it didn't even sound good to me. My DH really wanted to get me out of the house and talked me into going. A HUGE thank you to my DH. We sat and held hands through the whole movie. It was such a nice get away. Finding Neverland is a great movie. Very clean. The first half of the movie is slow and somewhat lame but the second half makes up for the first half and you come away feeling good, happy and glad you went. I'd recommend this movie to anyone one (the young children would be bored in the first half and whine to go home - so leave the youngest ones behind so you can enjoy the show). What's new in your life? Melody

Thanx for the movie review. My hubby and I are skipping date night next friday because our local WLS group is going out to dinner on Saturday night. There are at least 40 people going - should be a blast. And we are going to my hubby's favorite restraunt, and its the day before his b-day so it works out perfectly! Not much new with me - went to see The Pacifier today - very funny movie - clean. good family film. -Sherrie

My DH and I hope to get a chance to go see The Pacifier. I'm so glad there are more and more clean family films coming out. Since the clean movies are making money for Hollywood maybe it's finally sending a message to them that people want good, clean family films. I had to chuckle about your WLS group going out to dinner. I'm within a couple days of being a year post op and I STILL can't eat more than a couple tablespoons of food. I hope the restaurant has lots of "to go" bags so you can enjoy your meal all week long. Enjoy your time out. Melody
