Just in the nick of time.

I paid all my bills early this month and I wondered why I never received my house payment bill. Oh well, I usually pay ahead so I thought that maybe I was paid through the month of May as well. Out of sight, out of mind. We had company come over for supper tonight. We got to talking about books and she asked if she could borrow a book that I had started but never went past the first couple pages. I got the book and there was a book marker in it. This book marker was an envelope. As I looked at the envelope I saw that it was my mortgage bill. It was then that I remembered just grabbing something quick to mark my place in the book. I put the book down and never picked it up again. The house payment is due TOMORROW. Thankfully I've got a twelve day lee way to get it in. IF my friend hadn't come to dinner tonight and IF the subject of books hadn't come up and IF she didn't want to borrow my book my house payment would have been missed. Heavenly Father works in mysterious ways. I am so thankful that He knows my needs and takes care of me. Melody

LOL-I see I am not the only one who loses my stuff when I get involved in a book!~glad that you are gonna get it in "in time"-it's such a bear to have to deal with late house payments.
