Am I vain or what?

Since my birthday is approaching at the end of this coming week, my driver's license was expiring. With my MS disability I haven't been able to drive for several years now so I didn't want a "driver's license" but felt that I needed at least an ID card. So off to the DMV my husband and I go. My husband was on his lunch break and so his time was limited. There was only one other person in the DMV when we arrived so we thought this was going to be a quick and easy process. WRONG. They had to re-do the person's vehicle tags several times after we arrived. I finally got my turn. I made a big deal that my weight had changed from what was listed on the license. I now weighed an honest and legitimate 120 lbs. After 6 different pictures, and signing my name 8-10 times on that silly little screen that you have to use a wand to sign electronically and after re-doing and re-doing my ID card, my husband was late for work so they handed me my card and we left. I didn't even look at the card until I was back home. The first thing I noticed was that my weight was listed as 151lbs! I got on the phone immediately to complain. While I was complaining that my weight was wrong I noticed that they had given me a driver's license, not an ID card. The address on the card was wrong. The issue date was correct but the expiration date was still listed as expiring at the end of this week. How vain is it of me not to notice or complain about all the other things wrong with the card. I could care less, I just wanted the card to reflect my true weight of 120 lbs! Me thinks I'm a little to wound up with my new image. At least I can laugh at myself. Melody
