How the reading going?

Wonder how everyone is doing with your reading? I have days I do real good and others are not so good . I may not get the Book of Morman read by the end of the year, but I feel like I am getting more out of it this time around. Kaye

Our family is reading together as a family. We may not read as fast as some but we are getting through it. We are on Alma Chapter 51. We have a goal of being done well before the end of the year. The only advice I can give you is to try and read at least a little bit(even if it's just a few verses) every day. Keep on readin. Melody

I just finished the book of Jacob this morning. I have the Book of Mormon on CD, and have been listening to it on my 30 minute commute most days. I also keep a notebook in my car, and as I listen I try to find at least one thing that strikes me as spiritually relevant to me in my life right now, and before getting out of the car, I write down my thoughts and feelings about what I have heard. It helps me to stay focused as I listen. I am not sure if I will finish by the end of the year either, but back in June, our stake president challenged us to fini**** by our next Stake conference, so I am pretty sure I can do it by then (end of January). Just the feeling of being obedient to the counsel of the prophet has made a difference in my life.
