ROMANCE MATHEMATICS Smart man + smart woman = romance Smart man + dumb woman = affair Dumb man + smart woman = marriage Dumb man + dumb woman = pregnancy ______________________________ OFFICE ARITHMETIC Smart boss + smart employee = profit Smart boss + dumb employee = production Dumb boss + smart employee = promotion Dumb boss + dumb employee = overtime _____________________________ SHOPPING MATH A man will pay $20 for a $10 item he needs. A woman will pay $10 for a $20 item that she doesn't need. _____________________________ GENERAL EQUATIONS & STATISTICS A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband. A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife. A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend. Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument. _____________________________ HOW TO STOP PEOPLE FROM BUGGING YOU ABOUT GETTING MARRIED Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals. SEND THIS TO A SMART WOMAN WHO NEEDS A LAUGH AND TO THE SMART GUYS YOU KNOW CAN HANDLE IT.

Topic: Favorite scripture
I have to teach a lesson on scriptures today. What is everyones favorite scripture. Mine are 1 Nephi 1:20. I love the idea of Tender Mercies. I have had so many in my life. I also love Alma 26:27. The end of this says Bear with patience your afflictions and I will give unto you success. Those are mine what are your?

Michelle, I just wanted you to know there are more WLS choices out there then the ones you listed. I had the VSG (Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy) and there is also the DS (Duodenal Switch). The VSG is restrictive only and the DS is restrictive and malabsorptive. I was not comfortable with a intestinal bypass, so I had the VSG. I wanted you to know there were others available just in case you didn't know. VSG Message board: http://obesityhelp.com/forums/VSG/a,messageboard/board_id,5463/ DS Message board: http://obesityhelp.com/forums/ds/a,messageboard/board_id,5357/ Good luck in your journey, Tina

We just welcomed our 8th grandchild into the world on March 2nd. she is beautiful. We have 4 of each....the first 4 are all boys and then 4 girls. My youngest is coming home from his mission on the 14th. We are getting so excited and I wanted to have the house all fixed up, but it won't be ontime. Oh well....I'm sure he'll just be happy to see everyone. Christy

Sorry Tammy, I'm from the West, Idaho and before that Southern California. Can't help you out there. I don't know how many wards or steaks are in Minnesota. You can go to LDS.org and look up meetinghouse locater to find out information about locations of wards and I think it gives you bishops names as well. Good luck. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Topic: RE: Bible Question
I have many reservations about the new American Standard-it really is a new translation, and not in line with the KJ edition. It is HARD to understand the bible-a good gospel doctrine teacher is very helpful....just remember to take small bites-it isn't a race to see how many scriptures you can read, but how many you can understand. I struggle with scripture reading even though I read very well. The great thing about the Church editions is that the newer ones include the Joseph Smith translations-and they really do help to make things clear. Study guides can help, but more than that, pray. I have found that researching a subject, such as the atonement, and reading the scriptures that apply to that subject help the spirit to help me understand. Dont give up! hugs- lynn
