I'm almost finished with John Grisham's The King of Torts Just read a wonderful book called Wild Swans that I got at some old book sale....it was moldy...almost didnt' buy it.....but I served my mission in Taiwan and never really understood the Chinese revolution and how Taiwan came to be....communism, all that..... Well, this book was about 3 generations of women, how the grandmother had bound feet, was a concubine, then a wife later, and her repression and life....then her daughter was a communist soldier, and her tortures and interrigation.....then the life of the granddaughter being raised to believe in communism and her slow understanding of it's evils and how Chairman Mao was such a tyrant. It was written by the granddaughter, and was so wonderful. I couldn't put it down, and I feel like I understand the Chinese recent history soooo much better. I wish I'd have read it before my mission. I REALLY need to do another reading of the Book of Mormon though, it tends to soften me and I'm a much better person for about 6 months after I read it.....
