Topic: LDS Olympic athletes
We have really enjoyed the olympics and watch every chance we get. I have a question and I hope you know the answer.
Who are the olympic atheletes that are LDS?
I know one - Rulon Gardner. He won a gold medal in the last olympics in the heavy weight lifting catagory.
Any others?
It's more fun and more personal to have special ones to cheer for.

Topic: I took some steps on my own!
Whoo Hoo, Whoo Hoo. I took about 5 steps on my own.
Due to my multiple sclerosis I have to walk with crutches. Since surgery I've lost 73 pounds and I took about 5 steps on my own without my crutches! I looked and felt like a toddler learning to walk. I was very unbalanced and held my arms out reaching for something to hang on to but I DID IT! It was quite comical to see me trying but I did it. I haven't been able to walk without crutches for two years now. It will be a LONG time before I'll be able to move away from furniture or walls but these baby steps are certainly a start.
Melody
