1. What are 3 personal goals you have set for this year? To be able to slow jog 1 mile. To get new photo with hubby...been reluctant to do that for serveral years...I just couldn't bring myself to get another photo when I looked so awful. To ride my horse again. 2. What is 1 personal long term goal? I want to go for a ride in an open ****pit bi-plane like the Red barron pizza guy flies!! 3. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now? Healthy and strong. Hopefully in a management position where I work. 4. Now that you have had the surgery, has where you see yourself in 5 years changed? I see myself more physically fit than I have been in years. I don't think prior to surgery I thought that I would be strong enough to do the things I enjoy in 5 years like really long walks, working in the yard, ever riding my horse again. I am a very out doorsie person and I just love doing things and traveling. That is something that I think in my future I will enjoy even more. There will be less limitations. Get down under 200 lbs before Christmas b. get sealed to my husband and children in the temple c. get a job more geared to my skills 2. What is 1 personal long term goal? go back to school and obtain a masters degree 3. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now? I would like to be leading an adult literacy program for special needs adults 4. Now that you have had the surgery, has where you see yourself in 5 years changed? I used to think I was capable of teaching, but never of leading. Now I see myself as a capable leader. -Sherrie

1. I was born in Frankfurt Germany. My father was in the U.S. Army at the time. I currently live in Mountain Home, AR 2. I have been a member since 1981. Joined in Fulda, Germany. Best decision in my life. 3.I am 2 wks. post op. 4. Married to my second husband since 2002. My first marriage ended in divorce due to his abusiveness toward me. I have two kids, Vikki is 17 and a Senior in High School, and Josh is 13 and in the 8th grade this fall. 5. I would love it if this message board got a lot more active! 6. Both of my kids are in the public school system. I don't have the money to homeschool them right now. Donna

1: Where are you from? Born in Southern California to a career navy father. He went all over the world, we went all over Southern California. Moved to Idaho in 1978 when my father retired. Lived in Idaho ever since. 2: How long have you been a member of the church? Born into the church. 3: Post-Op or Pre-Op? Pre-ops..where are you at in this process? Post ops how far out are you? 5 months post op. Have lost 73 pounds. 4: Children? Married? Divorced? Single? Widowed? Married to a non-member for 23 years now. We have 5 children. A son 20, daughters 19, 16, 5, 3. 5: Would you like to see the LDS Message board more active? If so, Why or why not? I check this message board everyday and I try to respond to almost all the posts. I would love to see more people chat. 6: Children - Home School or Public School? My children all went or will go to public school. When my 5 year old was getting ready for kindergarten I wanted to put her in a pre-school. They were all way too expensive so I started my own pre-school. We called it "Little Lamb Pre-school". We invited 3 other families in our ward with children the same age to attend. We totally focused on gospel teachings. We sang Primary songs to open and close and we opened and closed with prayer. Wonderful experience but I'm glad it's over. We'll see if I repeat it for my 3 year old. Melody
