It can be frustrating. I work with several people who are totally obsessed with issues of weight, and when we were doing a Weigh****chers at Work program they would comment all the time about how things were going, in fact, one of them has lost about 70 lbs by diet and exercise, but none of them has said one thing to me! They have to have noticed, even some clueless, unobservant guys at work have noticed, and these women talk about weight issues all of the time! I think sometimes people just don't know what to say, or are afraid of "offending" or something. My philosophy is this: I have never met anyone who got offended by someone telling them, "hey, you thin, OR hey, are you losing weight?" Even if you are not losing, it gives a boost to a persons esteem. I think also that sometimes people begrudge those of us who have chosen to have WLS, the success we are experiencing, because it is the "easy way". I know I had that mentality in the past. Now I know different! : ) Anyways... I don't know if any of this makes sense, but I hope that you continue to celebrate all of your victories in your new life! Keep up the great work! Allison -61
