This is a great loss to us in the church. His funeral is on the 27th and I don't think that it is going to be televised on BYUTV...But I am sure that he is safely in the arms of our Heavenly Father. He will be missed. Donna

I heard about Elder Maxwell's death at our Ward Conference yesterday. He was such a wonderful speaker and will be missed at conference this fall. Finally the suffering is over and what a great reward awaits him. Aren't we blessed to have these kind of men to lead us?

Topic: Great dessert/treat
One day while on the main message board I saw a post from someone who had created a high protein/low fat/low calorie treat. I thought I'd try it. I made it tonight using chocolate protein. GOOOOD. container of fat free cool whip scoop of protein powder thaw the cool whip, mix in well the scoop of protein powder, refreeze. Take out. Eat and enjoy. I made it once using caribeaan cooler nectar. This was good as it had a mild coconut flavor. I'm a chocolate nut so I made it tonight using 2 scoops of chocolate protein powder. I used two scoops so I'd have even more protein. It was wonderful. It was just like eating ice cream that didn't melt to liquid state. Very, very good. I used a knife and cut the frozen cream in fourths and ate a whole 4th of it. I got 10 gms of protein with NO guilt.

Don't worry about it Melody. It irratates me that he has this "I know everything attitude". His surgeon doesn't do nearly as many as mine does. He seems to me one of the "stop and shop" type of doctors. James ONLY went to him because my surgeon's team would not approve him on the psych end -- and by the time they did he was already approved and scheduled for surgery w/his dr. So he just went a head with them and at the same time says "Well, I can always follow your plan of food and such"....Well here he is and he is doing his own thing some days and then asking me for guidance the others. His dr. didn't even schedule lab work to be done post op at his 1 month appt. Didn't schedule diatitian appts....heck I have them 2, 6 weeks and then every 3 months the first year. Where as he was left on his own. It might be a pain for me to drive over an hour each way -- but in the end - I feel much more confident!!! Anyway...thanks. Have good Weekend. Gala
