Topic: Baby Shower gift idea
There are five women in our ward who are expecting babies. Because my name is Melody I thought it would be appropriate to get the new mommies and babies a copy of the Childrens Song Book on CDs. My children LOVE the children's song book on CD. We have them playing a lot at our house.
I ordered 6 copies from the Church Distribution Center. They were less than $4.50 a set. An inexpensive baby gift and one the baby won't out grow.
Thought I'd share.

I got some chewable vitamins as well as some calcium citrate from Costco. Without reading the labels I took it for granted that I should take one of each a day. One multivitamin and one calcium. WRONG. After taking these for 3 months I got to wonder just how much calcium I was getting and read the directions.
The directions on each the vitamin AND the calcium citrate said to take TWO a day. I was shocked. I learned a valuable lesson. I need to read the directions and not take everything for granted.

Wonderful news Donna.
Unfortunately the road ahead is going to be difficult. So be prepared. WLS is NOT a "fix it". It is a tool. A tool that you use for the rest of your life.
You will have many, many dissappointments ahead of you (we all do). You just have to remind yourself that you wanted this and are willing to do whatever it takes.

Well, on Wed, I got the call from the doctor.....They finally go the psych evaluation and now I am just waiting for a date....and all I can think of to say is......

Donna have you tried calling the psych's office? Maybe they forgot to fax it and they need a little reminding. Just be nice, remember you catch more flies with sugar than with vinegar.

I am still waiting for the psych evaluation to be faxed to my surgeon. This is really stressing me out! What is going on with this guy anyway? It has been almost a month since I had the evaluation done. I am just frustrated is all. Thanks for letting me vent.
