Hey, Joyce, I won't tell if you don't tell! I am looking into it as well.
That is what this site is for, the understanding and comfort that only those of us who have and are living this can really offer!
You are one busy lady and I am glad things are going well. The prom sounds wonderful.
Thanks for the protein reminder. I am going to go fix a shake in a minute!
Your dau and her roommate are in my prayers. Please keep us posted.
Grins,
Kaye

You all have my prayers and well wishes. I know how hard this is and just want to reassure you that things will get better. There will be good days and bad days and slowly but surely the good days will outnumber the bad days.
I read the website and it surely touched my heart.
Hang in there.
Grins,
Kaye

Hi, Gala,
Boy, can you believe it has been 2 years that we have "Known" each other? Wouldn't know you if I saw you on the street but love ya dearly! Funny isn't it?
Anyway, I am stronger. Won't write much now but just posted before I started reading through.
I do hope things get better with you. I am putting your name in at the Temple. I am sure HF knows who I am refering to with "Gala G" . (grin)
You have been through much and I know he is watching out for you.
I was listening to a song by Michael McLain, yesterday, I think it is called "Ninety and Nine" and I was reminded of you. If you are not familiar I do hope you will look into it. "You are not just one of the ninety and nine, you are MINE."
Take care my friend,
Grins,
Kaye
Topic: Hello! I am back!
Well, everyone, I hope this finds all progressing well.
I have much to say so I hope ya'll will be patient. I have been gone and am waaaay behind. I am praying for all of you.
First, I want to say that I appreciate you more than words can say! It is comforting to know that there are people out there who TRULY understand!!!
Thanks for all the well wishes, prayers and advice on my condition. I finally received that iron infusion I so greatly needed. It has made a huge difference. It is a good thing too because right before I got it, my daughter (here in SA) found out she is pregnant. She had an IUD and it was in a position the DR felt it needed to come out. So she was put on bed rest. She saw the Dr, the day I had my infusion. The next day, I went with her to have it removed. (DS-IL was out of town) and helped her with her 3 children (One of which is autistic) The next day, after arranging things with the RS, I left to help my dau in St. Louis, who was having surgery the next day. She has 6 children and a HUGE home. (Hubby being a stinker and moved out!) That was for 11 days. To come home and find dau here is still having a hard time and is extremely ill. Thanking Heavenly Father for the iron infuson and a faithful Priesthood holder and his blessing or I would not be able to handle this. One night I was up till 4 with one grandson (He is in St. Louis and we were on the internet. Dealing with some issues. ( 9 yrs old and doesn't sleep especially with his world rocked lately) I often "Keep him company" at night so his Mom can get a little sleep. Love the internet! Anyway got up at 7 to watch a different grandson. Things like this.
DH took me on a back roads trip on Sat for Mothers day and I was in a quiet car for hours! AHHHH I love that man.
My prayers are with all of you.
I am hoping things will calm down and I will be able to start posting more.
I will also try and reply to everyones back posts.
I would appreciate any prayers. On top of everything else, the anemia pushed me to gain 30 LBS!!! I really have to get it back off as I NEVER want to be that obese again. I have never lost as much as I should have but still, a size 14/16 is ok at my age, I guess. (54) Better than a 28 sometimes 30!!!
Thanks
Grins,
Kaye

Ladies (since it is 99% ladies here) Happy Mother's Day!!
I don't post like I used to or really deep down want to. Pls know that I read your posts each day. You are each close and dear in my heart at the end of each day.
As I struggle to gain my own footing in 'life'...I continue to pray and ask for your peace and comfort.
Kaye...how are you?? Are you home yet? If so let us know how you are doing when you can.
IAMKAYE...how are YOU??? What did you find out at the dr??
Daph..Hang in there.
Melody...How are you?? And ur family/girls doing??
Linda...Welcome!!! post some more. Kick us in the rear and get us 'moving' (posting) more.
Everyone else...I have abrain freeze right now and can't remember ur names and so forth.
As I said I struggle to keep my footing each day or as I tell my husband "keep my head above the water". I recently had my 3rd hospital stay int he last 6 months and am actively trying to stay away!! Switched a few jobs and am in the process again of looking for another job. Most likely I will be fired from my current job when I 'go back'. My medical leave is soley based on the hours I work. (3rd shift) and I can't go back to that. It isn't gonna work. Anyway its a long story.
Take Care!!

((HUGS))) and Prayers go out to each of Nolan's family and friends. I just read threw the website that Tommy set up. It was very dear!!
With each passing day you will get a bit stronger as will Chris. You will remember the good, the loving, the courageous man who fought an awful evil illness! You will be comforted more than you will ever know by your Father in Heaven.
An angel looks down upon you and his family!!
Take Care of YOU!!

Chris and their children remain in my daily prayers. This is a tough test for them to go through. I did look at the website taht Tommy set up. He did a wonderful job. You can tell that Nolan was a special spirit to many, many people.
Chris will remain in my prayers (as well as their children) and others who are feeling his loss.

Joyce your secret is safe with me. So glad your WLS Spring Fling prom went so well.
I'll keep your daughter and her room mate in my prayers. Frightening what could have caused something so quickly.
Thanks for the protein tips. It's a nice refresher even for those of us who are at goal and want to remain there.
Happy Mother's Day!!!
Melody
