Topic: RE: Temple
Kaye, I received your message AFTER you had already left for the temple. I fortunately get to the temple often enough that I didn't have any additional names for you. Hope you enjoyed going home and the spirit you felt there (going to the temple has been compared to how we feel when our family comes home to visit US, that's how our Heavenly Father feels when we go to the temple (his home) and visit HIM.)
Thanks for the offer and for the service.

Isn't it wonderful to be remembered as the grama who smiles and is friendly? What a wonderful compliment.

Joyce, unfortunately you just received all the creativism that I possess. That was definately NOT a talent I was blessed with. Some people are "primpers" and make things look pretty and nice. I'm not one of those either.
I'll have to pass on coming to your extravaganza but it sounds like a lot of fun.
I'm going to go back to the idea of showing what an amount of weight looks like. Since you live in AZ and there's a lot of desert there, maybe you can show the weight in sand, gravel and then rocks. Might make the budget a little easier.
Thanks for the offer of free accomodations. It's tempting, but since I dont' drive I'll still have to pass.
I'll be thinking about you. Let us know how it goes.

I totally understand about not receiving any response. I post all of the time on the Utah forum. I have received a response 3 times. It is very disheartening especially whe this is a place for support. Thank you for bringing attention to this!

((((HUGS)))))
I'm glad you were able to get some answers yesterday. Being hopeful makes you feel MUCH better!!
Hang in there Kaye!!
Let us know how you are doing. I know someone on the over 50 forum said she gets the transfusions of iron. But I can't remember who it is/was.
Take Care,

Folks, I am going to try and fill my shift at the Temple today. If anyone needs a name put in (other than the one's I already have on my list) let me know.

Wow, Joyce,
That sounds amazingly fun! Wish I lived closer!
I will be in St. Louis taking care of my Dau while she recovers from surgery.
I will be happy to spend time with her and pamper her but can't say it will be fun. lol
Let us know how it all goes!

I just want to share something that helped raise my spirits.
My daughter was on-line chatting with her husband. He sent her the emoticon
and my little 2 1/2 year-old grandson was watching her. When he saw the emoticon, he pointed to it and said "Gamma!"
That was so sweet! That is difinately my boy!
Grins,
Kaye
