I found it. If you're interested in knowing it is called "How I Stayed Alive When My Brain Was Trying to Kill Me". I went to Barnes and Noble and litterally went threw about 300-350 book titles before coming across it.

I've got a question for you all. Hope I can figure it out. I had someone tell me of a book and I can't remember the name of it. The logical thing to do would be to ask that person again...hahaha..I'm not a logical person.
So..I'm putting my faith in you all here. I'm going to go out on a limb here and open myself up a bit....More so than I really care to. However, I don't want to ask this on the other forum I frequent... Hoping I can come up w/the name.
The book was on suicide. THe name was 'something like'..."How I survived when my mind was trying to kill me".
No, I'm not suicidal today. Have I been in the recent past? Yes.
Suggestions to speak to my bishop will go unheard. Sorry...just not happening. I don't know him well enough (we just moved) and I don't care to open up my personal life and all the baggage that I've got right now.

I follow the general consenous and say that it really doesn't matter to me. As long as it is respectfull of the Gospel and the brothers and sisters that post to this forum.

A side thought now,
Think back let's say 4 years ago - would you or even could you imagine what your life would be like now or where you would be? This surgery/journey is a life saver, emotionally as well as physically. I just wanted you to know how proud I am of you and the inspiration and the example you've been for so many people. Sister Sherrie Dew wrote a book I just finished reading "No one can take your place". This is so appropriate. No one can take YOUR place Amy. You're remarkable.

Topic: RE: How the reading going?
I just finished the book of Jacob this morning. I have the Book of Mormon on CD, and have been listening to it on my 30 minute commute most days. I also keep a notebook in my car, and as I listen I try to find at least one thing that strikes me as spiritually relevant to me in my life right now, and before getting out of the car, I write down my thoughts and feelings about what I have heard. It helps me to stay focused as I listen. I am not sure if I will finish by the end of the year either, but back in June, our stake president challenged us to fini**** by our next Stake conference, so I am pretty sure I can do it by then (end of January). Just the feeling of being obedient to the counsel of the prophet has made a difference in my life.

Our family is reading together as a family. We may not read as fast as some but we are getting through it. We are on Alma Chapter 51. We have a goal of being done well before the end of the year.
The only advice I can give you is to try and read at least a little bit(even if it's just a few verses) every day.
Keep on readin.
