Hi Brenda,
I know you said that you posted in all the boards. Did you mean these boards? I looked for your message from my month board and I never saw it. I posted in the month boards for a OH forum that is easier accessible and I have had about 200 responses now!! I tried writing email addresses down but, a lot are replies and when you send back to them from yahoo email it says do not respond is the email address. I had to go on each month board but, I can make you a list of all of their names and which month boards they are attached to. My injured hubby has come back stateside to California. I am doing so much right now with also trying to find a job for myself for next school year since my school let me go after the surgery. My friend Peggy and I are trying to arrange to go in October but, we need to find when her hubby and my hubby will be coming home to take on the kids!!! Hugs, Sandy

Hey everyone!
Thanks for your thoughts and prayers while I was in the hospital. I had my surgery on the 18th and am feeling OK today. I am still in a lot of pain but I have no regrets and can't wait for the next few months to fly by!

Topic: RE: ANYONE KNOW ANY THING ABOUT DR. CARL WESTCOTT, IN WINSTON SALEM?
We are stationed overseas in Japan and I had no problem getting clearance. But once I got here one of the doctors told me I wasn't suppose to be cleared to come here until 2 years after surgery. We didnt know before taking orders that I may have to be left behind. I just thank God everything worked out and I hope the same for you.
Topic: Foodsaver
So I have one of those vacuum seal thingies. I haven't used it in a while, but now I use it a lot. I'm tired of having the same food all week long to get rid of leftovers and to not waste $ or food.
I just take my left overs or doggie bag from the restraunt and put it in the fridge (to make the liquids, juices solid).
I then take out about an ounce or two and seal it in individual packets. These then go in the freezer, so when I am in the mood for roast, it is already seasoned and cooked. Then you just boil water and put the sealed packet in there. It warms it back up with out drying out. Then you just open it and eat!
You can microwave too, but I prefer boiling water.
Let me know what you do to keep meals different and flavorful.

Topic: RE: Emotional Eating
Cyndi:
The class sounds very helpful.
I am a bit too far to attend, but wish I could find support. I am alone at this.
I am still at 9wks post op, still on clear liqs. It can be very frustrating.
Take care
very best

Topic: Hello....
Hi everyone,
my name is Christina and I'm getting my things together for the surgery. I have been approved by tricare to only have this long drawn out procedure in Virginia...the wait is 2-3 years long...no way!!! So I changed to Standard and getting ready for my orientation with Dr. Clark and his wonderful staff. If anyone here already had the surgery, especially in the Hampton Roads area and switch to standard, I would really love to hear from you. Or any friendly person out there...JUST WANTED TO SAY, HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!
