Well final pre-surgery appoitmnet with the surgeon next week and will have a surgery date! I cant beleive how fast this is flying by now that the process has started.
Thank you for the response. The hospital said my nausea would be gone by day two..... Not the case. I've gone back to clear liquids and made it through the day without vomiting
Had my surgery on Wednesday, everything went well, but now that I am home I am having a hard time drinking my liquids without feeling nauseous. I had some this morning, vomited, took a gravel, slept all afternoon and now still feel queasy. Anyone have any suggestions?
Hope your surgery went fine. Kept us posted on how things go. Just think you're on the losers bench now.
Hi I am looking for the contact number for Dr. Rene Boisvert in Freddy, if someone can provide it to me that would be great.
Hi...I had my surgery on May 26th...and at the 3 rd week I hit 298 and am still there today. I started eating regular food...except for red meat and breads...just make me sick.....I hear you on the difficult eating.....I am learning that chewing and chewing is never enough lol...that some foods very quickly make me stop eating and sit and wait for a uncomfortable feeling right at my breast bone to pass, What I have earned is take it slow and steady...measure everything and the most important of the whole thing is your vitamins, water and protein....doesnt matter about the bread and rice, potatoes as long as you get the rest in.... I still go back to soups and oatmeal.....they taste good now lol....best of luck...Kim
