Hey, no problem!  It's a sphynx kitten.  I wi**** was mine, but it isn't.  I want one, but they cost several thousand $$$.  I want plastic surgery first.

I picked that avatar because I have a lot of loose skin and look like that kitten these days.

I am almost 7 months post-op and hit the "100 lbs lost" mark this morning.  In addition to strength training at the gym, I've started running ~ between 2-3 miles each run, 3 times a week.

At this point, there are no complications and I'm living a life I never imagined :)

Sooo....

I went to the education appointment at Hickory Surgery clinic on Tuesday. Everything has been turned in and now I am waiting on Lisa to get a appointment to see a doctor. Still havent decided on a doctor yet. Dont really like the idea of any meny miney mo but that may be what it is.

It  will all be worth it in the long run.

I'm pre op.  Next week I:  meet with the surgeon Dr. Dennis Smith for the 1st time; get my psych eval; meet with the nut; attend a DS support group in Marietta, GA.

I'm tryyyyyyyyyying to exercise at the YWCA... it's kind of boring so I will try one of their classes.  I get a little bit of exercise flinging thongs and then frantically backpedalling to get myself out of tight spot.  I also harrass Shauna for exercise.

I am stuck, stalled and at a standstill, have been for about a month!! GRRRR!!  I am 8 months post op and am realizing that the weight does not just fall off anymore! As your appetite comes back, you actually have to work hard to see any results and really pay attention to what passes your lips!!! I shouldn't complain, i guess, i have lost 139lbs. and have more confidence than I have seen in YEARS!! But it also gets so frustrating, not to see any weighloss for days upons weeks!!  I only have 61lbs. left till I hit "my" goal and at the rate I am going, i feel like it just may take FOREVER!!!! But I guess my next best thing is to get my booty up and out my door and participate in this thing they call "exercise" LOL I guess that's why i did not give my 8 month report, because it was nothing to brag about!!! BLAH!!! Although, as of last week, I found that i can fit my rear  in a size 18, coming from a size 30 and I haven't been in a size 18 since having kids and my oldest is almost 9!!! YEEHAW!!

I am pre-op. I went to Greenville Yesterday for all the medical appointments. I had a sonogram, Upper GI, lab work and I had to have a full cardiac clearance.

I had a little scare at the Cardiologist appointment. Turns out that the surgery I had about 10 years ago has stopped working and my arrythmia is back. I ended up having to have a lot more cardiac test than what was scheduled... but the good news is... They cleared me anyway!  I may end up having to get a pace maker sooner rather than later.. but we are going to revisit that after the surgery.

I was nervous there for awhile but the Dr. said that she thinks the benefits of losing all the weight outweigh the risk of the surgery!

Wooooo Hoooooo! Now... I have nutritionist and psych on December 11th and that is all my appointments!
