My husband and I both had our surgeries done at Duke in Durham at Durham Regional Hospital. I now use Duke Raleigh because it is much closer to home and because I like the smaller, intimate program that they have in Raleigh. Both programs are robust, providing highly skilled surgeons, as well as Psych and Registered Dieticians to support the programs.

The Hanes (yard sale) will be at the Weeks Plant in Winston salem on Saturday. For those of you needing new clothing and undergarments  this is a great sale.. I plan on going as I need bloomers that wont fall down when I walk. Prices change every year but they are really good for new hanes items. For example Bali Playtex hanes bras usually sale for $2 or $3.   Underwear like 50 cents a piece.
For more information  do a web search on Hanes United Way sale Oct 1.  It should pull up the information or look up  the United Way of Forsyth County.
I go every year. But this year I really need to go. I drive almost 2 hours to get there.  I must warn you.. if you go you want to go early as items get picked through.  I am also taking a cart with wheels.  I plan to do some Christmas shopping as well. They usually have nice clothing , jackets and polo shirts fo a couple of dollars.
