I'm going to take it a little easy today. Morning walk then a little household shopping. I'm just trying to hang on and not gain any more weight before the end of the year!!

You may have to consider keeping your husbands no matter what the cost. I have read that getting insurance after already having Bariatrics is near impossible, especially as early post-op as you are. Just a word of warning

HI all,

Well, how is everyone today?  I am good. Today I will hit the books.  I wish I was more disciplined. I have tried to set a time each day to study but that doesn't always work.  Any suggestions?

I applied for a total of 67 jobs since I have been back here.  Amazing!  I got only two nibbles, one was Hallmark which was ok and the other was the high stress one which I did not take.  Have a possible care job coming up.  Not sure though.  Taking care of someone full time can also be hard.

Anyway, have a good day all.

Hi guys!

My DH loves indian food, i did to pre op and have found a few things i can eat post op.

The Tandoor Restaurant on Market Street in Greensboro NC has the most awesome chicken soup.  It has all the flavor of indian food,  the chicken is cut up into eraser size pieces and the broth is thick but not creamy,  its thick like stew broth.  This soup sent me over the top today!!

They also have the most deliscious veggies, its a cauliflower and brocolli blend with curry etc mixed in OMG its awesome!!!

THought i would share, hard to find a good place to eat out thats on the menu.  I'm learning,  Panera  soups,  french onion mainly, salad.

Hi everyone!

I recently moved to Charlotte and am looking for a new PCP.  Does anyone have a PCP that they can recommend that is WLS friendly?  Also, are  there any support groups in the area that are open to people who had surgery elsewhere?

We have BCBSNC on my daughter who has a pre-existing condition and have been very satisfied with their service and support.

You might also see about cross posting this on the Main, Insurance and RNY forums.

Hi all,

Don't you just love this mild weather?  I was at a meetup yesterday and they didn't believe me we were having snow in April up in PA until I showed them a picture I took.  I seriously do NOT miss the long winters there except there were no highways to deal with and traffic was so light.  So, I guess it wasn't too bad.

Hubby isn't working today so not sure what will happen.  Neither one of us has a lot of gas to go anywhere so maybe we will just hang out around here.

You?
