Ok so I'm wanting to get started for real this time on a walking routine & need some opinions on good walking shoes. I am flat footed & have no arches. What have you all found to be good walking shoes?

You get one pair of feet in life. If we don't treat them well- we are in trouble. I always go to either Scheels or the running store. Get your feet evaluated and find out which type of shoe is best for you. Scheels has a small clearance section too. After they have shown me which types to get, I then go to places like DSW and get the shoes for a better price. I don't mind paying close to 100.00 for a good pair of running shoes, if it means my feet will be better. In my experience a running shoe is much better then just a walking. Walking ones seem to be so flat. I am not a big runner (actually I hate to run) I do run in short sprits.  Remember you get what you pay for. If you go to Wally World you will get cheap shoes and problems because you were not fitted correctly. ok, that was my 2cents.. ummm.. 2.98 worth of advice LOL
