Thanks for the suggestions. Both are a little out of my area, but I still will check it out.

Love can fill many voids; many obstacles to your contentment. It answers the questions of life all the time. If you do not love yourself, then the path towards the pinnacle of your happiness is compromised. It takes no effort to realize that you are important enough to be praised for simply being and doing the things it takes to improve, love and succeed. Begin your day with a “Yes, I matter!"

Dr Anthony Papciak did my Behavoiral Eval prior to my Gastric Bypass 6.5 years ago.  He is great and he also assists with running the Support Groups at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown NJ.  He is covered under Magellan with BCBS so it's a great option.  I still enjoy going to see him and he helps to keep me focused on this journey!

He sees people at the Mt. Kimble Annex of Morristown Memorial on Mt. Kimble Ave (Rt. 202).

Topic: RE: Recommendations for VSG surgeons?

Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeons (Abkin, Bertha & Iannace) all do the Sleeve Surgery.  It only started being covered by Insurances in the state of New Jersey last year that is why not many doctors around here have done as many.  I did speak to Dr Abkin and asked HOW A PATIENT can Choose the Right Doctor to do this New Procedure.  He said you want to make sure the Surgeon has done many Gastric Bypass Surgeries, rather than just  being a Gastric Banding Surgeon.

You can give Dr Abkin's office a call 973-410-9700 and ask to speak to NINO.  He could direct you on how that surgery is covered as far as Insurance Goes. Patients that see the doctors meet with Insurance specialist the same day to start the process of what their specific Insurance needs to get the procedures covered.  They are awesome.

Good luck on your journey!

that is most excellent. Congratulations!

I know what you mean about looking back at old photos. Seeing myself 140 lbs heavier makes me feel ashamed, and sad. But the thing I notice more than my fat body and face is the dead look in my eyes. I was miserable and barely existing. My RnY gave me my life back. I don't know how I mustered up the motivation to make the decision at the time, I'm just glad I did.

Please try to make it to one of the NJIGT dinners if you can. Its such a thrill to celebrate with other people *****ally understand where you've been and what you've been through.

More info!
Hi Guys,
LIPO's Prom dinner dance is on Saturday, November 19th, 2011.  Here is the FB invite link with the info: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=209145545762986&ref=ts
Ok, so here's the deal with regards to the hotel.

The catering hall is very nice and upscale located directly on the bay, you can check it out here http://www.landsendweddings.com/aboutus.aspx

There is a Sayville Motel which is conveniently located directly across the street from the Lands End Catering Hall.   It is small, but clean and was just totally redone, however, they are charging $140.00  per night.  They do offer AAA, AARP and Senior discounts.
I was searching hotels.com and I found a La Quinta for $85 a night which is 4.5 miles away.  There is also a Holiday Inn, a Hilton Garden and  Marriott within 10 minutes away, at a higher cost.
Also, if you do come, I am hosting a Sunday Brunch at my house for all the out-of-towners who stay overnight and my Leadership Team.
Please let me know if you think you will be attending as I'll need a $25 per person deposit ASAP.  I had to give the hall $500 down and they are asking for another $500 the 1st of July.
Thanks so much and please help spread the word, I'd love to double the size from last year.....feel free to ask your OH and FB friends accordingly.
Deposit checks for LIPO's Prom Dinner Dance can be mailed to
LIPO P.O. Box 1071 Sayville, NY  11782
Thank you all so much, it's going to be a BLAST!
