Sorry that I missed the Bachelorette party in AC for Dawn, the pics showed a GREAT time was had by all. My dh is still recuperating from having his rotator cuff repaired, however, it was an open procedure instead of laproscopically, now he's home for 3 months, wish me luck!
I just noted on Tom's post, but wanted to tell you too. I was asked to put together a "Leaders Meeting" and was wondering if you were interested. We could brain storm on issues previously discussed, how they can be changed, struggles, issues and or concerns we face as leaders, maybe have a guest speaker, kind of like an all day event.
Please let me know if you or any other Support Group Leaders from NJ would be interested. I have several from CT, PA, NY already committing. I'm curious to get an exact number interested before I decide on date, location, etc.
Hopefully, I'll get another invite on your boat again, this time, I'll make sure I get there! lol
Regards to All!

Frank and I would like to return to more of your upcoming meetings as the weather gets better.
Additionally, I REALLY want to pursue what we discussed prior to Xmas, together, we can make a difference, I'm confident of it! I am also getting more involved with the OAC, I'll tell you more about it when I see you next visit.

oh and BTW.....THANKS for the exposure on your FB page................
fyi........I have several friends here on the NJ forum and have even attended one of Tom Casola's NJ meetings and will be attending even more in upcoming months.
I've had the pleasure of meeting him, Kimmi, Nannette, Dan E., Dawn and several others from this forum and we chat more frequently with each other on other OH boards.
Always remember, support is the key to success!
Have a BLESSED Day!

I didn't read your whole summary, as I'm just starting to work my way through the book for the first time.. I didn't want to spoil anything.
I can't wait to hear Dr. Stapleton in October!

I like variety, and taste, so these are some breakfast menus I eat. . .
Thomas' WW muffin with lowfat cheese melted on it, sometimes a slice of turkey bacon added or slice of tomato
Weight Management Oatmeal, made with a little skim milk to add extra protein and some fruit
1% Cottage Cheese with garlic pepper grinder for a little punch
1/2 cup of Eggbeaters made omlet style in a nonstick pan, with some fat free feta or other lf/nf cheese added or some chopped veggies (onion, peppers, zucchini)
Occasionally, I will make Quaker Oatmeal pancakes with frozen blueberries or banana and walnuts and no sugar syrup.
There are also the Jimmy Dean Delights breakfast sandwiches (muffin) I throw away half the muffin.
Most of these breakfasts are 250 calories or less, can be made in less than 10 minutes, most 5 or under. Hope this was some help.
My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen
