go me, go me !
I didn't stick exactly to my diet today, I figure I'm gonna have to work down to that...I've been living on such a large amount of calories, I think I've been trying to drop it down to fast...kinda like calorie withdrawl, at least thats my theory!
adding up my calories, I ate 2200 calories today.
But besides that, I managed to drag myself outside to do some yard work, weed wacking and watering...couldn't bring myself to kneel down and pull weeds, my knees ached at the thought! After the yard work I was still feeling motivated, so I came inside, put on some music and got some cleaning done with the help of my dancing princess daughter
Yeah me!
I just got done watching TLC (love that channel!!) and they had this program Inside Brookhaven Obesity Clinc...I never want to end up in a place like that...It reminded me of the nursing home I used to work in, sooo depressing!! And the worse thing is that there were a couple people in that place that weighed less than me!!! one of them was even close to my age!! What an eyeopener!!
So after while watching that, I decided that I was going to digout my exercise videos. I may not be able to do them very well, or finish them but at least I would be up moving!!! So I dug out my Walk Away the Pounds 1 mile tape (only 18 minutes) And I was able to fini****!! not too impressive, I'm glad I was by myself, but did it! I'm so proud of myself!
Just had to share!
Wow that's awesome! You done got on da weight loss bus! Wohoo! Even if you had done no exercise or daily activities you still would lose weight at 2200 calories! Granted it would be very slow but you would still lose. Eventually you'd have to lower your intake but for now it'll work. Now, you DID exercise and do some of those activities. With all that you said I'm guessing that you burned at least 500 calories for the day maybe even more depending on how high you got your heart rate to with the outdoor activities. So even though you ate 2200 you burned 500 of those for 1700 calories for the day. One thing you might think about doing is getting a pedometer and wearing it all day. It's a good way to track how many calories you've burned. You can get them really cheap at wal-mart for like 5-10 bucks but I personally recommend spending a little more on one if you can. The more expensive ones (still less than 30 bucks) will keep track of distance and calories burned. You've done WONDERFUL!! Keep it up and you'll see! I give it a week and you'll be coming in here going OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG! lol :)
